It is a bit oldie but the place offers a magnificient view, the service is very good, so is the food. We took the 6-course tasting + the wines match (small glasses but very interesting to discover other vinyards than the classics). Went there for a 70th birthday dinner celebration planned months in advance. Had a lovely table on level 56 overlooking the harbour. Food was very good, service excellent, when someone left the table and food was there a silver dish was placed over it to keep it warm. Wine list amazing but be prepared to pay. One of our party... We didn't book in advance for this restaurant on a Saturday night but they had a table for 4 of us. The receptionist lady was distanced and not very welcoming while we were waiting for a table almost empty restaurant for 15 minutes my wife and her friend wanted to have a look around and the view but they were... To be honest, I only picked Petrus for lunch after I'd found out Amber at the Mandarin Landmark was full until the end of May. Petrus has been and still remains one of my favourite fine dining restaurants, especially for a relaxing lunch. The dining room is spacious and airy with a lot of natural light and a spectacular view.... More

Havent been in Petrus for almost two years, we returned to celebrate special day with family. Delicious food and warm services in Petrus always given us a very good experience. However, we found the restaurant was not good as before. Food was not impressive. the bread was not hot enough. It made the butter roll tasted very greasy. taste of... More

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Restaurant Petrus once held 2 Michelin stars but because of Shangri-La Hotel's purchasing policy (the hotel group, not the head chef has the final say in the purchase of produce) and subsequent fall out with chef Frederic Chabbert saw the restaurant docked of all michelin stars in the most recent 2014/2015 guide. However a... More

We went to Petrus for my husband's birthday tonight. Service was below average. Waiters were nowhere to be found and at some point, my husband had to serve us the water himself! If one is paying for a five-star meal, one deserves a five-star treatment. Not at all what we received. It took the waiter 15 minutes to come to... More

Celebrated my partner's birthday in Petrus. They gave us a lovely private room in the corner of the restaurant with marvellous views. Our high expectations of food and service were met on every count.

Surely this is a sumptuous location and the food and view divine. The flavours and plating were a very high quality and I'd be delighted to return, any time. There was never a moment of ordinary or lackluster in either the presentation or the taste. The sizes were tightly controlled which meant no over eating and feeling bloated and uncomfortable.... What do diners would have expected from a USD300 or GBP200 ‘fine dining’ meal? Posh decor? Fantastic view? Least to say is to fill your stomach but no no at the Peturs. For a 3-course a-la-carte "child's portion" meal, (I’d had the ‘Duck Foie Gras’ as entree (HK$390), ‘Milk Fed Veal’($780) and a crepe ($250) as dessert) with two glasses... More
