If you want to be wined, dined and, spoiled rotten, I recommend Petrus. I could fault nothing. The food, service, and the views were all spectacular. I can still remember the perfectly cooked foie gras. Ah, we will be back...

Petrus is not my kind of restaurant. Stuffy atmosphere, bland food, small portions, expensive. I keep hearing how great French food is, but except for the "Le Chateu Petit Jerome" (the flat of a French friend in HK who cooks wonderful home style French meals), I've never really understood what people see in it. Great presentation and lots of silverware... More

A group of us had dinner here - it is at the top of the Shangri-la in Admiralty. This is supposedly one of the best restaurants in HK, and we had high expectations. We had a pre-set menu - I must say that it was great presentation by the chef, but I wasn't so keen on the taste. Relative to... More

Being treated to a birthday lunch at this lovely restaurant. We had a table by the window to enjoy lovely view of the Victoria Harbor. Setting of the restaurant was very classic and comfortable. Lunch was very good value with 2 courses at US$55 and 3 courses at US$64. Guests can preview the menu from their websites. There were 5... More

Went for lunch on a public holiday. The lunch menu listed choices of main items, not describing how it would be cooked or served. Chose 3 to 4 food items and the dishes would be created according to chefs’ preference and mood. Nice experience though taste was not outstanding. Booking tip: Ask for table by the window,

It’s an amazing restaurant traditional french cuisine with hints of Asian influence and creativity with an extensive wine list, the attentive service (which never falls short of expectations) stunningly opulent decor and of course who could ever forget the views of Victoria Harbour. My favourite dish was the Frogs legs, slow cooked egg, yellow wine and green peas. The dish... More
