Excellent food, wine, service

My wife had oysters and seabass. She loved the oysters, liked the seabass. I ordered veal chop as main course, and was told that it's a big portion, so the waiter recommended the light lobster tart. Located on the 6th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel it is on the left as you walk to the pool before the Massage and Spa treatment rooms. It is so very popular and took me a day or two to get a reservation, so if you can a reservation take it! Can't say I've eaten at many French restaurants... More

Of all the fancy restaurants, I can't say the food at this place blew me away or was particularly memorable. It was good but not great. But the service was exceptional. The wait staff are perfectly trained and present without intrusion on your conversation. It made me think of all the restaurants I've been to where the staff is inappropriately... More

I went this restaurant with my wife as wrapping up our summer vacation in HongKong. We could book a table for us one day before by requesting to the hotel concierge. During our dinner there were no vacancy. I guess that our table was last one. Foods are all well and my wife recommended their breads are superb. View from... More

Certainly it offers the best weekend brunch in Hong Kong: fantastic French, impeccable service, best value for the money plus spectacular view. We came back to try the other items on summer season menu that we did not have during our visit last month; and we were so glad we did. My favorite this time was the Mackerel Fillet Tart... More

The food and service was outstanding with an amazing view of Kowloon. Caprice offers world class cuisine and service that is attentive without being invasive. Be prepared for an expensive evening, but it is well worth the time and price. It was the best way to wrap up a visit to Hong Kong!

Went here during HK Sevens Rugby March 2014. Excellent decore; but that is all. A place to be seen and for posers. Service was good but not up to five star standard. Food was tasteless, very small, and I am not a big eater. Bill was very large (their were 7 of us); luckily I didn't have to pay. Go... More

We were in Hong Kong January 2015 and on our last day after staying 5 nights at the beautiful Four Season's in HK we decided to stop for lunch at the Caprice. We were a bit late for the lunch service but the staff kept a table open for us and treated us to the most amazing 5 star lunch... More

OK, so the strengths are a beautiful setting (both the view of the bay and the interior decor), solid french food served in an imaginative way, very good service (though not 3-star Michelin level). The problem is that its value is poor. I guess if you are eating at the four seasons, you know you must pay a premium just... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
