Amazing place, walk by all the green Rolls-Royces. Then step back in time when you enter the lobby area. A very nice hotel.

We popped in too early for high tea, but decided to have an early lunch with champagne in the lobby of The Peninsula. Not only did we tick something off our bucket list but the experience was beyond our expectations. We were placed at a table in by the main door to the hotel - plenty to look at!!! Our... More

Good for high tea. Fits nicely in a Kowloon side visit. Better to try it off pick hours (early or just when it is about to close) to avoid long line.

This place is fun! Live band playing old time songs, and even newer ones. Dress up- and you will be treated with respect. A little noisy, but people just having fun and being themselves. The atmosphere is ALIVE- If you are staying at the hotel mention this to the hostess, if not just stand in line. There are no free... More

Lobby lounge at the Peninsula is famous for its England High Tea. 3 levels of food supplemented with coffee and tea is delicious and stylish. Many times, you have to queue up to be seated. The natural lobby ceiling with live music from the band bring you to the Bristish colonial atmosphere.

This was high on our "must do" list and we were not disappointed. My daughter and I arrived at 5:30pm on Saturday afternoon and only waited a few minutes for a table. The lobby is opulent and the string quartet playing from the balcony added to the ambience. The sandwiches, scones, etc. were delicious and the service was good. A... More

The starter (Crab meat avocado salad), main course (Roast beef tenderloin) and desert is really good. But I am a bit disappoint to the bread. It was rather hard and cold. In genaral, it is a lovely place for dinner and not expensive in such a first class hotel.

We really enjoyed our high tea here. Arrived at 2:30, and waited about 15 minutes. Pretty filling for high tea. Overall I thought it was a worthwhile splurge.

After having visited many of the other 5 star hotels in HK, I decided to go and visit the Peninsula for their afternoon tea as many of my friends had been raving about how good it was. Well, unfortunately this was not my experience.... It all started with them not taking reservations, I was told that the afternoon tea starts... More
