Nice experience for luxury high tea

Visited The Lobby recently and ordered a high-tea for 2. All the savoury and sweets were finely made, and teas served were of very high quality. The atmosphere were very relaxing with live classical music performance. Queuing up would not be so boring if you are a fan for classical music. It's... read more

On my last day in Shanghai I invited friends to tea at the Lobby. At the recommendation of the waitress, three of us shared an order for two and we ordered an extra pot of tea; there is a generous variety of cakes and sandwiches and we could not finish everything. The setting is beautiful and we lingered and enjoyed... More

This is one of those things in life that are the real thing. The Peninsula is living history with a beautiful lobby among the great classic hotel lobbies of the world. The afternoon tea is pricy -- but what do you expect from a hotel with a fleet of Rolls Royces as courtesy cars? (It was the biggest order for... More

The signature afternoon tea in HK at the Peninsula the Lobby. The tea set is elegant with top quality. It is quite crowded and a little noisy since it is located inside the lobby as its name. It is worth to experience it.

The hype and reputation covers up for what is really an over priced average experience. We turned up early after reading the reviews, and didn't have to wait too long once it opened. We were seated right next to where the line is with a few plants separating the people in the queue from you. As a result you constantly... More
