Good and drinks are superb, but too crowded and noisy !

My friend was a hotel guest so we didn't have to queue up for the afternoon tea. Lucky us.... About the food and the drinks, I have no complaint as everything was excellent. The hotel is already an attraction point and I have to say here is a place we SHOULD come at least once. Staffs are... read more

We were not staying at the hotel so we had to queue to get a table such is the popularity of this event. It occurs from 2pm until six so get there early if you don't want to wait- it was Saturday so maybe busier than usual. It is an iconic building. The tea however is really quite ordinary -... More

An experience I'm so glad we planned to do. Delicious little cakes, pastries, scones and sandwiches, that looked as good as they were to eat, complimented with a superb glass of champagne. We even took our kids aged 6 and 8, which I was nervous about, but the staff were friendly and accommodating and because it's in the lobby you... More

This place is gorgeous! We had high tea here. The service was wonderful. We asked for a seat by the window, and they gave it to us. The staff were attentive. The venue is beautiful. It was a fantastic afternoon. We couldn't finish all of the food -- it was a very generous portion.

I went there for high tea and loved it. We went late in the day and were lucky to get a table. The server was friendly and attentive. All the cake and sandwich options were delicious and my earl grey tea was perfect. It’s a nice way to spend an afternoon, especially if you need to escape rain or the... More

My son and I decided we had to go to The Peninsula for afternoon team after reading reading about the history of the hotel as well as the history of Hong Kong. We headed out and ordered two different types of tea and a small snack. Sitting in that beautiful lobby was a blast. Definitely worth a visit!

On arrival to Kowloon on the ferry the first port of call should be The Peninsula. This gives a fabulous flavour of old school colonial opulence and should really be a must at least once in life. Forget the fact you have to queue as this is staple of Hong Kong and the fact that you have to make this... More

Just love all the Penninsula Hotels, however the one in Hong Kong carries the grace and charm of elegance and old world, hard to match for its rich exquisite interior with service and food to match, of course at a price.

You used to feel special, stopping in at the Peninsula Lobby, having a light meal or an afternoon cup of tea..... but now there are more and more families from the PRC crowding the tables, and some of the old magic is gone.....

Enjoyed a delicious champagne brunch here. All the dishes were exquisite and the service faultless. The wagyu burger is outstanding. This is a great location for a leisurely meal.
