I love this style

It's my favorite japanese restaurant in Hk :the food is very good (but not the best ), the service is ok (but they can do better) , but the style of the place is absolutely the best in Hong Kong. Great luxury atmosphere and a culinary set is a must to try. We ordered a 12 meal course and everything was so delicious and sushi was very fresh. The restaurant is a great place for a special occasions and located in the centre of downtown of the city.

Zuma was recommended to us by friends back home. We had just arrived a few hours ago and had not made any reservation, at reception they were checking their book and yes, we have 2 seats available at the Bar. Okay, no problem in a Japanese Restaurant the Bar is an interesting place as one can watch the preparation of... More

Definitely one of the best Sunday brunches on HK Island if you like Japanese food. Great sushi and sashimi buffets and some beautiful robata grill options. Seriously good value, unlimited Japanese buffet, stunning big desert presentation that they bring for each table and free flow Veuve for around $750HK ish (around £70 GBP). Will definitely return next time we're visiting... More

Headed along to Zuma for late Sunday brunch; pre-book yourself in advance definitely! That's important. Enjoyed the food quality and quantity. And had a few glasses of tasty chilled champagne. Good friendly service without being exceptional. A nice Sunday treat whilst on holiday in HK.

We had lunch here. The smorgasbord is mainly Japanese cuisine and it’s excellent. The wine, beer, cocktail were unlimited, and we drank continuously . A choice of lunch dish is cooked for you, we special fish dish. The smorgasbord highlight was the ribs, crispy fried chicken, soya chicken wings, oysters. The desert was outstanding with a mix of fruits on... More

Drunk/eaten here many times. Lunch is a bit corporatey, as you would expect, I have also brought clients here. Service is good, so a good place to bring clients. In the evenings, it's good for both business and pleasure, and the weekend brunch is one of the best in Hong Kong in terms of value for money. Of course, it's... More

High Quality (food & staff) & crafted/handmade feeling (not like hotels brunch). Private rooms are nice. Cannot be disappointed. We will be back !

Zuma offers a wide menu of delicious and imaginative contemporary Japanese cuisine. Decor is sleek and attractive with a choice of seating environments. I found the staff could not be nicer: helpful, cheerful and unobtrusive.

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
