Description: This stunning two-Michelin starred restaurant, situated on the 25th floor,...
This stunning two-Michelin starred restaurant, situated on the 25th floor, is Pierre Gagnaire's pied a terre in Hong Kong. It is here that diners can experience outstanding modern French cuisine in a stunning environment.

With a culinary team led by Gagnaire's protege, Jean Denis Le Bras, diners can expect creative interpretations of classic dishes with seductive flavours that are truly worthy of their two Michelin-stars.

A vision of contemporary luxury, Pierre's decor incorporates luxurious fabrics in a mixture of charcoal, cherry, blue and black highlighted with silver and crystal. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views over Victoria Harbour while the central chandelier changes colour to suit the mood. Atmospheric, dramatic and very chic, it's the perfect setting in which to enjoy phenomenal cuisine.

Wonderful setting with views across to Kowloon. Food as you’d expect is first-rate and innovative and expensive. Wine list is extortionate and that detracts from the whole experience. I should have brought my own paid corkage!

Amazing nine course tasting menu with some amuse bouche and Dom Perignon 2006 thrown in for starters provided a perfect end to 2015 and start to 2016. Had a window table overlooking Hong Kong harbour and the New Year firework display. Every course was a distinctive and special culinary treat. The medallion of venison was one of the best I've... Now I am not one to go over the top usually BUT this really was the finest of fine dining ever. It's Michelin star and "Pierre" certified so you know it will be good but the whole experience was superb. The whole experience was staged managed and planned superbly to ensure you enjoyed the "full culinary experience". Each course was... More

After experiencing more than a few meals of good fine-dining food, the ability to be delighted gets harder and harder. You can still appreciate a good meal but having the extra feeling of really enjoying the experience takes more than just having a good meal. Pierre did just that. My husband and I came here for our Christmas dinner. Being... More

Was invited to a Christmas Party here. We were fed lots and lots of delicious canapes and my favourite was the brown shrimp one. Sadly I missed the surprise poolside party because I didn't know about it until I saw photos posted on Instagram on the way home. Oh well.....

Amazing location. Perfect service, specially when Jean Baptiste is in the place. The food is indeed very interesting with, at times, some well-done new combinations. Unfortunately I'm not a lover of consomme', redactions and broths, here explained why just a 4 for me. But def. a place worth dining at!

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
