There are many Jade Garden restaurants in Hong Kong, but they are always good value and serve a good and authentic chinese selection. Not all the choices suit Western taste but the won ton noodle soup is fantastic with deliciously light wontons. We visited HK after living in HK for many years and we delighted to find Jade Garden was... More

We we're a parity of 3 tired and worn out from 20 hours of travel from Canada. Keen to try Chinese cuisine in Hong Kong we had this restaurant recommended by our concierge. Not easy to find in a sea of neon lights, stores and more stores we took a lift to the 3rd floor of hard to find building... More

We stumbled on this restaurant because we went on a tour booked at our hotel. this was a 8 hour tour that included dinner at the Jade Garden Restaurant. the tour guide asked everyone on the bus, did they liked certain foods and we were given a banquet which was really good. The only thing we could fault was that... More

The restaurant was very busy, the service could be described as a little slow, you have to attract attention, but once you do it's not too bad. They did run out of two of the dishes we ordered, but we chose alternatives. The deep fried beef was amazing as was the honey glazed pork. All in all, fantastic food and... More

Simply put, we were sat at a table and then ignored. Not even given a menu! The wait staff studiously avoided making eye contact. A couple on the table next to us got fed up with the wait and left, so did we. We seemed to be the only couples in the restaurant - maybe Jade Garden only wants to... More

A lovely restaurant serving a wide variety of authentic local dishes. Many seating places, so it should be possible to find a free table there even at the peak-hours, when most cafés and restaurants are overcrowded.

First of all, please note that the address of this restaurant has already been changed to 3/F, Causeway Bay Plaza II. The old one at Hysan Avenue has been removed years ago. This Chinese restaurant belongs to Maxim's restaurant group. It's well located near some shopping spots, like Sogo Department Store, Time Square, Hysan Plaza, etc. The decoration of this... More

The Jade Garden is a chain of more upmarket restaurants in Hong Kong and consistent. The branch in Hysan Avenue closed a couple of years ago at least and moved to Lippo House, 3/f, Causeway Bay Plaza, 463-483 Lockhart Road, Causeway Bay for those in a hotel in the area. The restaurant opens at 07.30 and closes at 12 midnight... More

Upon arrival in Hong Kong, my husband and I were craving for Peking Duck and fortunately our hostess brought us to dine at the Jade Garden Restaurant in Kowloon District. We ordered a few scrumptious dishes but the highlight of our meal was the Peking Duck. The meat was juicy (thinly sliced) and the skin was crispy (some removed from... More

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
