Dumplings galore and delicious soups

There are several branches of this restaurant chain in Hong Kong. Our habitual visits are to the one in the large arrival hall of Hong Kong International airport, or the branch on the first floor of the IFC shopping mall. the soup dumplings here satisfied my craving. Not the best (best are in Taipei!), but still good. Also, quick and very inexpensive.

Sited in an up-market shopping centre, this is very popular with the locals (generally a good sign) and we had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Simple, almost Spartan décor. Chinese tapas style, with a selection of dishes from which to choose. Chinese tea freely available, with beer the alcohol option. The dim sum dishes were tasty, although some... More

We loved it, we've been there 3 times during our week stay in Hk. The food is fresh and easy to digest compared to other Chinese restaurants. Highly recomended!

I come here every week, and the food is always amazing. Up until my last visit (last week) I noticed that the food portions had shrunk, by a lot. I'm estimating a roughly 40% shrinkage in the meals. Though the service is great and they can speak a little english. (Just enough to get my order and maybe order some... More

One of my saved list of restaurants here in HK, basically all for their spicy wonton and chicken noodles, but since they have expanded to many locations now, the quality did suffer a little bit. I hope they don't over expand and able to keep up with the authenticity!

The food here is excellent. However, if you are going there for dinner, show up early and be prepared for a 40-50 minute wait for a party of 2. ( Saturday, not sure about other days ) Once seated, there was constant confusion as to who was taking our order, delivering our order, following up and finally, it took nearly... More

We went to the Tsing Yi Branch after a long day at Disney - only a couple of stops on the MTR, Shanghainese dumplings were of high quality, ribs were meaty and fresh. Minced pork noodles (dam dam) were a little sour for my liking. All in all, high quality for a mall restaurant and worth starving all day for... More

One of my favorite restaurants. Good and delicious food. Dumplings are the best. Expect the staff to always have an eye to eye with the guests. Staff comes immediately at every wave of your hand. Prepare to wait long though at the entrance, but it is always worth the wait. Lunch in this restaurant is always one of the important... More

This place is ok, but having eaten a din tai fun, I have to say that I kept on comparing and crystal jade was not as good. The choices for the xiao long bao are no many. Good but I could be better.
