Delicious dumplings in fancy mall

I recently visited this place with a co-worker. There was a line, but it moved quickly. They give you paper numbers like at a deli, which is convenient. We had soup dumplings, pan fried dumplings, buns, string beans w pork, and fried rice. All of it was delicious. All in all, a simple meal of... read more

If you want to try Asian food, this is the place. You can order few of the dishes and share with your friends or family. This restaurant is very famous and is convenient located in a shopping mall and is extremely busy, they don't have a reservation service, you have to walk in and wait patiently. I would recommend, noddles... More

Best XLB I've had, although this was my first visit to China, so maybe you can get better in Shanghai. We also had wonton soup and fried rice, which were both very good. Best part: it's not particularly expensive. It cost us $200 total for both of us to eat a filling meal.

We stopped here for lunch at the Harbor shopping center and we're delighted to find this excellent restaurant. We had spicy sour soup and some very excellent dumplings. Tea was brought immediately to our table and refilled without prompting. The soup and dumplings were so filling I didn't have room for lotus root for dessert, as planned. The table across... More

We went here on the advice of our tour guide & we were very impressed with the quality of the authentic food, We had a good range of meals including noodles, dumplings & stir fry"s . The meals were fantastic in fact probably the best dumplings we had in Hong Kong. Very good value as well, our lunch for three... More

This place is in IFC. It is always packed. We went at 2+pm, but had to wait 40 minutes for a table! The food was rather a let-down, considering this restaurant chain has a high standard for its food. I've eaten at their branches in Manila and Singapore. They have consistently high standards. However, we ordered the belly pork with... More

I got lost in Harbour City to get to this restaurant. After about an hour's journey, finally I got here. The staff was kind and loved Xia Long Bao. Price is really reasonable! I will definately come visit again!! If you want to go here without any wandering, remember #3328!

Have been to other Crystal Jade's in Hong Kong and normally enjoy the experience, however this is the first and last time will visit the branch in the IFC Mall. The waiter was sniffing constantly and could see him wiping his nose with his hand with no hand washing at all, then proceeding to serve the customers. The noodles were... More

After being known as one of the best places for Xiao Long Bao in Hong Kong, we had very high expectations and they were met ... the Xiao Long Bao and other dumplings were very good although the service was just ok and the price was higher than we expected.

I have been in Crystal Jade in Jakarta and Shanghai for comparison. But nothing like the bad service in Hongkong! We went yesterday to Crystal Jade in IFC Mall Hongkong and we waited the food to come like forever. We ordered Sechuan 3 style noddle and other dim sum. For the noddle, it was only coming after 45 minutes and... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
