Food elevated to art

We started with one classic coktail and one original cocktail, both well executed though it took slightly too long to get it prepared. We followed with a Chablis Fevre 2006 which was rich, long an complex. We went for the menu decouverte. The amuse bouche exhibited a beautiful balance of textures... read more

If you like any of the other L'Atelier locations then you should feel at home here. Lunch is a great deal.

I ordered 4 course from the special tasting menu and it was trully a gastronomic experience. 1. Lobster turnip ravioli 2. Scallop in green curry sauce 3. Black cod in miso sauce 4. Lamb cutlet All given star rating! My mum had their 788 set lunch, all came up to HKD2100.

The restaurant is hard to find in Landmark and everyone kept directing us to the Tea House instead. It is on the upper level through lifts or escalators. The restaurant itself is small and you eat at the bar area to see the cooking. There are 2 tables where you can sit on a high stool and eat at a... More

After being sat at the counter facing the kitchen, and not having been to their sister locations, I initially questioned their reputation. There was no need for any doubt. From the start, with fabulous breads and throughout the entire meal, this was a memorable dining experience. The lamb entree was particularly outstanding, the service was great, and even the ice... After I had a terrible experience in Le Cafè de Joel Rebuchon for lunch, I had a reservations at L'atelier de Joel Rebuchon the same day for dinner and I must confess that I was scared after one of the worst lunch I had in my entire life. Luckily the 3 Michelin stars earned by this restaurant are more than... More

Went there for my hubby's birthday last night.Food was incredible, looked and tasted absolutely delicious. Service was good, attentive and polite staff. Elegant and modern setup in the restaurant. We had tasting menu (10 courses including the starters, main, deserts and tea/coffee) for the night as it was a special occasion where the restaurant would recommend the guests to have it. Our menu is... More

Robuchon remains one of the best in HK but in my view it should be two star and it comes second to Otto e Mezzo, Pierre, Amber, NUR, Bo Innovation and Caprice. The location in the heart of Hong Kong's business and name brand retail Distirct of Landmark is superb. The dining room is a lovely wide frontage room which... More

We were a group of Australians travelling to meet up with my daughter who was celebrating her 30th birthday. The restaurant is beautiful, small and elegant. We all selected the degustation menu which was very expensive but we thought it would be outstanding and as it was a special occasion and we had flown to HK to be here we... More

Many places in Hong Kong are part of global groups that are great in their home country but somehow they lose the plot when they open in HK. Same name same 3 stars but somehow very different. But not this time. This restaurant is very good. The food is exquisite and the service slick, helpful and relaxing. You can eat... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
