Tea time

2 pieces of cake and a green tea latte $152. Latte is good. Cakes are alright. (Prefer their chocolate crossiant). Sitting on the balcony is so relaxed. With a book in hand no doubt you can easily sit for hours.

Went there for Sunday diner while kids still on holidays, and we spend really good time , we let the sous chef Julien and the pastry chef decide for us , we end up with beautyfull meal , mix between classic JR dishes and some of the new ones from the healthy menu , then Desert ware as usual beautyfull... We went to L'Atelier for my wife's birthday dinner. The whole experience was great, from the ambience to the food to the service. The different courses were presented extremely well, and had some unique dishes. Overall, highly recommended

We went there for a normal dinner as we know the concept of the atelier. Nice food, classic casual setting ... It is not the place to go for a special occasion. Every thing is perfect but not wow! We don't understand how come there is 3 star as it is exactly the same than London, Paris Vegas Singapore and... More

L'atelier De Joel Robuchon defines what a three michelin star restaurant, exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey is. Robuchon, Hong Kong is just spectacular in every area and portion of the dining. More than tasting the food, looking at it, smelling it, feeling it... Its much more closer to like enjoying a full night of a concert with a Beethoven... More

This was our third visit to L'Atelier Hong Kong and the first sitting at the counter rather than the garden. It was reliably superb in all respects. The enjoyment of watching the preparation of dishes was an added bonus. In Hong Kong the kitchen is more readily viewable that that in Tokyo. The standard and presentation of dishes is first... Le Salon de Thé de Joël Robuchon is located the IFC Bulding. It’s a French tea salon that offers a great selection of sandwiches, bakery products, pastries and cakes, and coffee/tea for dining-in and takeaway. Great choices of sandwiches with high quality ingredients. Nice decoration red and black. I ordered the beef filet sandwich with pickles, avocado, bacon and homemade... More

I guess I should explain why I was totally grossed out. L'Atelier is only bar seating, they have the open kitchen in the center and bar stools all around so you can see your plate being dressed, the main food is prepared in the kitchen (Lamp chops etc) which then come out to this center area where it is plated,... We went here for our first year wedding anniversary and it really did not disappoint. They atmosphere is very sophisticated laid back which I did not expect of a 3 michelin star restaurant. The seating is bar style which are placed around the chefs as they prepare and cook the foo which means you get to see some of your... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
