We just had a unforgettable dining experience last week to celetrate our wedding anniversary. Menu in devised to authentic/classic style and creative Asian touch. Everything was impressive and tasty although the portion was a bit small -qastronomique. One meat and one fish as main course which had been cooked to perfection. My brother and I had the 5 course set lunch menu and we loved it. It was also extremely reasonably priced for a 3 Michelin Star experience. We made sure to order a different dish for each course and found that while some dishes were definitely better than others, in each course there was at least one that was outstanding.... More

I dunno maybe it was the high expectation of a 3* restaurant that has left me just a tad underwhelmed but that's the word I will use. The 4 course lunch menu is reasonably priced for the quality of food, service and attention to detail of the restaurant. Amouse-Bouche of a three-way onion was probably the best dish. The chocolate... More

Located at Landmark Atrium at Central, the restaurant is easily accessible by MTR and usually fully booked, so do remember to make your reservations early. The contemporary decor exudes seductive charm while the casual atmosphere and cozy setting at L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon was a breath of fresh air and made us feel right at home. We were seated at... Took the Mrs here for her 30th birthday. Best dining experience of the trip (better than Amber). We hard the degustation menu - every meal was a mind blowing in presentation and flavour. You can be confident in the quality of the produce, presentation and service here. A must for Hong Kong. Loved it and will be back in the... More

What else can you possibly expect from the 3 stars JR? Only delight on a plate and exquisite wines... We were a group of friends and got a private room, cause that's apparently how you do it in HK :-) Beautiful restaurant, great service and delicious food... It can be very difficult to describe food so all I can say... More

Having eaten at the sister restaurant in Vegas about 8 months earlier and being wowed by the food but certainly not the service we decided that as HK had 3* to Vegas 18 to give it another try. What can I say but WOW! Over around 3 or 4 hours we had a delightful meal of our own choosing, deciding... More

Perfection at its best would be the best description for this Dining Experience. Having a Lunch with a Friend we took the Set Menu and the Waiter immediately offered us to have two different Menus so we have a better and wider experience. This is just one of the small details who make a meal here experience you wont forget. Tried two three-starred Michelin joints in HK and this was the best by a long shot! Went for lunch and ordered from set menu - great options for my meat-loving partner and my preference for seafood. Every course was spectacular - no disappointments. Value for food was great considering the quality. Paid no more than I would for a fancy... More

Having lived in HK for more than 7 decades, this Restaurant is argueably the very best dining experience we have had here. The decor is subtle but stunning, with a choice of seating at the Bar, banquettes or tables, indoor & outdoor. But due to the night chill, we opted for indoor dining. From the moment we entered the premises,... More

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
