In the Grand Hyatt so not a budget choice. As other reviewers have noted the signature bread sticks are sublime. Food choice for lunch a little limited but should find a starter and mains to suit. Tomato soup and swordfish were mine and not bad (nothing to rave about). Service is attentive but not overbearing. Safe choice for business lunch.

The service was great and grissini bread amazing. The view is not that great and our pasta was just OK.. Nothing special and and could have been more tasteful. We have been to better Italian restaurants in Hong Kong.

We arrived at the hotel way past 7 pm and after a quick check in, the five of us decided to have a decent bite after our long flight. We were definitely not disappointed. What really impressed me were: 1) an incredibly knowledgeable staff on the foods and drinks 2) the bread to start was one of the best bread... More

Had a fantastic dinner in the restaurant. We ate in a private dining room where the service was excellent and the staff were attentive to all our needs. The food was excellent, in particular the bread sticks they served. It was so good a couple had extra bread sticks sent up to their room after dinner!

Overrated. Nice decor, atmosphere and good service. But the food was good, and not special as you should expect for the price, only the freshly oven baked grissinis are great. You psy for the location and service, not for the food.

Had a lovely dinner at Grissini, an Italian Restaurant located inside the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. the food while good had a few minor flaws. the lobster dish was a bit on the salty side and the veal a bit tough. At the listed prices this should not happen. Overall service was excellent and classically executed. The wine pouring was... More

Food is great, no question. While ain't cheap but definitely worth the price. The weak point of the venue is the relatively lackluster view. The service is excellent; the staffs were very knowledgeable about their offering and the wine selection is plentiful. Highly recommended if you're to impress your date.

We went to Grissini for Sunday brunch. The dishes are very well presented, very nice reception and nice views. The dishes are delicious and varied: pasta, risotto, foccacia, meat, lasagna, tiramisu, creme brulee, etc. One good thing: the ability to have dishes cooked front of you(pasta) or ordered at a suggested menu. Wines and desserts were also really good! We... More

Grissini is without doubt my favorite Italian resteraunt in Hong Kong. This restaurant serves the most amazing appetizers and entrees especially during the Italian or Australian Truffle season. The service at Grissini is absolutely impeccable, in specific the manager Victor Marcato who always goes out of his way to satisfy his customers. This is a must visit restaurant in Hong... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
