24-7 Brunch!

Saw a recommendation from a TV show and went to try.. We went in the middle of the night after a long long long day out... Not so crowded at around 12am, but there were people who were also grabbing some food after a few drinks at the bars nearby. The service, not great... Don't mess with the... read more

Had brunch at the flying pan, I had the eggs benedict and my friend had the ranchero grande, both meals were delicious but too many choices so it ,aye take you a while to chose. All,in all brunch was great and will definitely go back, lots of choices whether you want a simple breakfast or lunch meal or if you... More

I was craving for pancakes and it's the nearest place (a crawl from Wharney Guang Dong Hotel). Waiters were and were not helpful. Didn't ask me how I liked my eggs. Didn't mention that unlimited coffee was just HK$20 extra with the pancakes instead of a full HK$37 (you forfeit the juice though).* Pancakes weren't anything spectacular but there was... More

There were 7 of us in our brunch group - 3 mothers and our daughters and we'd decided to have an early lunch before heading to the HKAPA to watch a musical. I made the reservation for 1.5 hours before the show was to start. First indication of terrible customer service - I had submitted a reservation via their website... More

Warm welcome, buzzing atmosphere and tasty food from a great menu. The American pancakes and coffee were superb!

Not sure if the breakfast is better however we went for dinner and both got a burger...it was horrible! I kept looking over at the take away restaurants across the street thinking "why didn't we go there?!" Anyway...breakfast might be better going by other peoples reviews however avoid the burgers $216 for 2 small/poor quality burgers (no fries) and 2... More

nice diner, food good, service good, if you know chicago, it is like an upscale Hollywood Grill. Had the eggs benedict, which comes with two sides (baked beans and mixed fruit is what I chose).

This is a hidden diner up on the 3rd floor of a nondescript building in Wanchai. The service is fast and friendly enough. The food is quite good and what I had was plentiful and tasty enough. When I went it wasn't that crowded but I believe it can get a bit packed. Its American style in décor and service... More

We had a couple of breakfasts there during our weekend in Hong Kong. We only went during breakfast/brunch hours but it's nice to know this place is open 24 hours. I ordered the Flying Pan on both ocassions. I love how large the portions are! You get a little bit of everything you could want on a breakfast. It's great... More

Visiting Hong Kong recently, I woke up from a night out seriously craving pancakes and bacon, and luckily my friends knew just the place to bring me. The service is a little to be desired, with none of the staff particularly seeming fussed to take an order in any great hurry - but I guess it's nicer than feeling rushed... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
