To go place for a good hearty all day breakfast

Great place to come if you are looking for fry up after a night out or if you feel like having breakfast foods at any time of the day. Cheery restaurant on the second floor and it was near our hotel. Good portions for the price paid and the number of options they had on the menu is mind boggling.... read more

I was looking forward to a good hearty breakfast recently and popped in to the tried and tested Flying Pan. I was a little disappointed to find that the menu wasn't half what it used to be. I ended up with a pretty boring omelette. They only had two of the 6-8 complimentary sides listed.

After working too late and needing a good breakfast before my flight, this was walkable from Grand Hyatt. Food was decent, carling on tap fresh and very cold. I'm back in September and will return. Staff was friendly and efficient

Have been to the Flying pan on several occasions in the Central and old Wan Chai locations and always had a wonderful breakfast with good coffee and great service. We went to the new Wan Chai location in David House this morning and had floor scrapings mixed with water for coffee, the breakfast itself marginal and nowhere near as good... More

Was shown the old location which was on the third story. Fortunately they moved a block away and to the second floor. It's now right above the Typhoon bar. Food was good. Large portion. Staff was polite and left me alone. Definitely will return.

I ate here as it was convenient to where I was staying. Its on the 3rd floor (I think) of a high rise building in Wanchai. I thought that it would be good for a morning fry up given the name and was expecting a greasy HK café.... What I got was an impressive restaurant which served a wide ranging... More

Visited this restaurant twice during out visit and the breakfasts on both occasions were good. Staff were efficient and unobtrusive. Location was excellent for us in heart of busy Wan Chai area

They just changed location to be on the same street one block to the west. Very good breakfast 24/24 7/7. I had eggs and salmon bagel with orange juice. Orange juice is very little but fresh from real orange so it's a good point.

Impressive choice on the menu. The options allow you to eat more at discounted rate. Nice intention. As conveniently situated near my hotel, had breakfast there often. They are open 24/24 so you can get food anytime. Early on wel end you can expect severely drunk crowd 😀. Very light American style coffee. Ok in the morning. They manage poached... More

Love the Egg Benedict! Whenever I wanna hv egg benedict I would go to flying pan, bottomless coffee, pancakes, spiced apples...egg benedict! the omelet is my 2nd choice..for big eaters. try the 4x4..make u full for whole day the only downside is hard to find a parking space near the restaurant..

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
