We had a good meal. The only challenge was our order. Make sure they understand your order. My son and I ordered the same meal, the Mixed Grill. They only brought one. The meal lasted a bit longer as the had to prepare another order.

I was in Hong kong for a day and was searching for an Indian restaurant for having lunch, my cab driver guided me to this restaurant. The buffet at Gaylord is awesome, loved the butter naan which they served...it is better than many restaurants which I have eaten back at home in India as well. The overall spread of the buffet... We had a lovely meal but service was pretty ordinary. We felt like we were doing them a favour eating there, a pity really as the food is really good but attitude terrible. We would not go back because of this but recommend it because of the food. Attitude always spoils it for us, always surprising but not unexpected after... More

Easily the best Vindaloo in Kowloon. A short walk from most of the major hotels, this small Indian destination is worth it. Ice cold beer, savory dishes and one of the hottest vindaloo's I've ever had. I go here nearly every time I'm traveling home from Hong Kong. Definitely recommended

The finest Indian restaurants in Hong Kong. Best food, outstanding people and excellent service. Great ambience too. Our 7 days stay at Hong Kong made us feel at home with wonderful people around specially Raj and Abhimanyu. Enjoyed the time spent at Gaylord. Highly recommended for people who love Indian food.

This restaurant offers live Hindi/Urdu music. The female singer sounds like Lata Mangeshkar. Male singer is also very polite and does not refuse your requests to sing your favorite songs. The band sings quite well. The food is not cheap but not extremely expensive. One can be fed for approximately 30 USD here. Despite all the spice, the food did... More

We recently had a good lunch at Gaylord's on Ashley Rd. in Tsim Sha Tsui. This is a long standing Indian restaurant in Hong Kong that offers the standard range of curry, tandoori and other classic Indian dishes. They have plenty of veg only dishes as well as some Jain friendly menu items. During our meal we tried the chef-suggested... More

This place may have been around since 1972, but it wasn't because it's good. I ordered the chicken madras and my colleague order the lamb korma. EXACT SAME base 'gravy' for both dishes. Thick, cafe au lait colored stuff. Because mine was a madras, they threw in some red pepper flakes to spice it up. Chicken was nasty, fatty and... More
