Surprisingly good

There are specialty dim sum which cannot be found in other restaurants. We had 3 dim sums, a veggie plate, a fried noodle, and an appetizer. They are all very delicious. The food is excellent, the place has no character and is boring. For a restaurant located in the IFC waiters are not at ease communicating in English.

Had dim sum at Cuisine Cuisine on Sunday. Menu looked interesting but unfortunately the taste and quality was unexpectedly below par for a restaurant in IFC. Consider the restaurant is from the same group who have "Whisk". Expense aside this restaurant and its western sister The French Window next door suffer from really poor quality food. Honestly there are a... More

A great view over down-town Hong Kong but only go there if you are feeling very flush. £40 for 6 prawns in lime juice, £20 for a plate of fried rice, and a set menu at £130 a head! High prices can sometimes be justified for exceptional food but this fell far short of that - it was OK but... More

I had lunch here couple months ago and liked the dim sum. The service did not strike me as horrible either. What a difference 2 months makes! I came here with family and an old friend ago last Sunday for dim sum. The whole experience was unfortunately most unpleasant. I requested a high chair for a toddler in our group,... More

We don't have a lot of experience of eating Chinese food outside the USA but we did know that the 'real' thing is different. We chose Cuisine Cuisine based on the Tripadvisor reviews and because it was close to our hotel. There is a big dining room with tremendous views over the harbor and, of course, of the light show.... Pretty good dim sum. Delicious sago-pomelo-mango pudding dessert with a wonderful view! Not a bad place to eat at if only for a few choice photos with the spectacular backdrop.

I love dim-sum and after so many dsappointements in so called Chinese restaurants in Europe ( try to find eatable dim sum in Aberdeen-Scotland) I was looking for the 'real' thing. Relatives from HK took me there and I was not disappointed. We are not talking frozen dim-sum here. All dishes we tried were excellent (and we tried a lot!).... More

Top location and contemporary setting. Good ambience as fairly spacious with high ceilings. Famous for its snake soup when in season. We enjoyed delectable dim sum offerings, including the crystal dumplings. Service was average.

Wonderful food - that's the easiest thing to say. The double boiled soup was a delight, and the prawns with some chinese vegetables gave us some really marvellous tastes and textures. Every mouthful turned into a delight. All the other dishes were an absolute treat. Expensive but then ............ The service is not as fast as some places but our... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
