What a visual and gastronomic treat

My new favorite place it town. Super deal for lunch - 68 euro for a full chefs lunch with many courses. Truly a worthy super creative yet delicous 3 star Michelin place. Went in autumn - everything with truffel was fabulous. Incredibly creative and delicous. Go.

I have eaten at the Fat Duck and this is as close as I've come since in terms of molecular gastronomy. Inspired cooking and inspiring tastes with as close to a perfect meal as I can recall. This can't be a long review as I'm speechless. Go if you can. There aren't many Michelin 3 star restaurants out there.

During my last trip to Hong Kong and Macau my wife and I ate at three Michelin 3* restaurants, Bo Innovation was the best of the bunch, but also the priciest. We went for the chef's lunch menu and in adding only sparkling water and Chinese tea we still hit nearly £200 spend, adding an extra 200hkd for beef. However... More

At Bo Innovation, Chef Alvin takes traditional every day Hong Kong cuisine and elevates it with modern techniques and mind-blowing combinations to create what he calls “X-Treme Chinese Cuisine.” To get the full experience we chose to sit at the Chef’s Table where we got to watch the chefs prepare the dishes. Chef Alvin personally described each dish. The 15-course... More

We were in awe by the presence of Chef Alvin Leung. Having him presented his creations to us personally, explaining every dish with its background story really makes the whole experience memorable. There is a reason why Chef Alvin and Bo Innovation are 3 Michelin starred. The 13-course Chef's Table menu is well-thought, with the right mixture and sequence of... More

My sister who's a local recommended This restaurant. Lunch was not overly expensive and delicious. Flavours beautifully balanced. However do not order the tsioa loong pau. Bo's take in the Shanghai dumplings is a gelatinous coating over some soup. It looks delicious but tastes odd n not value to money. Staff are very attentive and setting is pleasant.

It's really difficult for me to rate this restaurant, as there's many variables in the equation, given the Michelin rating and style of the food. I would most likely not give it a 5 rating for dinner, but for the chef's lunch menu option, I shall. Even though I did not like every dish, I appreciate the fact that a... More

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
