Relaxed Atmosphere, beautiful food, great service, great wine matching.

Had a dinner reservation on a Friday night and despite turning up an hour late the staff welcomed us. Was relieved at how relaxed this place was, really felt at home, customers were all interacting with each other. If you've passing through HK after traveling around the world experiencing a wide variety of food cuisine, culture and history -- Bo Innovation brings a new perspective to taste. Frankly, the experience could be compared to eating in pitch darkness if you challenge your senses. This was a one stop to help me appreciate the what all food really has... More

My girlfriend and I celebrated a milestone birthday at Bo and while we enjoyed the experience, it was not a flawless night. We ordered the full menu with wine tasting. Some of the dishes were odd: rose scented egg foam with nothing else, crab mush served in a baby jar and with a Hello Kitty spoon (truly!). Others were delicious:... More

Go for lunch for a much better deal. We paid about 1500 hkd for 2. There were some dishes i absolutely loved and some i didn't care for. My favorites are Umami, The fatty tuna literally melt in my mouth and the vermicelli soaked in har mi oil was so tasty. Another favorite is the Pigeon. The medium rare pigeon... More

Was in Hong Kong to celebrate my wedding anniversary and went to Bo innovation to celebrate the same. We had the chefs tasting menu and were totally blown away. My 2 favourite dishes were one where they used White Truffles and the second one was where it was a tomato sampler with a tomato marshmallow, which was just outstanding. If... More

This was my first time at Bo Innovation. A friend of mine chose this restaurant and I was very much aware of what to expect from hearing about other peoples' experiences. I was really excited to try it. The food was quite nice. Innovative yes... tasty- most of them were. We sat outdoors since the indoor seating was fully booked... More

Not sure why some of other reviews said they were disappointed with the food, I had a great lunch at Bo Innovation and till now I am still thinking about some of my favourite dishes which really hit all the right notes. The molecular xiao long bao was exquisite, it popped in my mouth and the lovely taste filled my... More

My new favorite place it town. Super deal for lunch - 68 euro for a full chefs lunch with many courses. Truly a worthy super creative yet delicous 3 star Michelin place. Went in autumn - everything with truffel was fabulous. Incredibly creative and delicous. Go.

I have eaten at the Fat Duck and this is as close as I've come since in terms of molecular gastronomy. Inspired cooking and inspiring tastes with as close to a perfect meal as I can recall. This can't be a long review as I'm speechless. Go if you can. There aren't many Michelin 3 star restaurants out there.

During my last trip to Hong Kong and Macau my wife and I ate at three Michelin 3* restaurants, Bo Innovation was the best of the bunch, but also the priciest. We went for the chef's lunch menu and in adding only sparkling water and Chinese tea we still hit nearly £200 spend, adding an extra 200hkd for beef. However... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
