We had the chance to book a table for lunch. Great experience and excellent value. The service is top, as all the Hong Kong restaurants of this level. The food is really good and innovative as we would expect from a 3 star Michelin restaurant, but you should be aware that this is a Chinese restaurant so some of the... More

The medium degustation menu was pretty impressive, and the wine selection available was more than sufficient to fully complement the courses. The duration of the meal was a bit long, but i guess thats due to the rate at which we ate at. A good experience for us, would recommend to other friends.

Our lunch in this resto is a real experience. After watching Bo's show on TV and reading the reviews, we were so excited to try the Chef Menu. I love most dishes, the pigeon, beef with truffle cheong fun, umami are my favorites. One thing that can be improved from this dishes is the temperature, all dishes had room temperature.... More

we went for lunch and opted for the full set (7 or 8 courses if i remember correctly). divine! each plate that came out wowed us. i especially remembered the vermicelli noodles in har gow oil topped with grated truffle (you'd think the flavors would clash but they melded perfectly) and the langoustine with salty duck egg sauce and cauliflower... We were very impressed with this restaurant. Three options of degustation menu - we had the medium sized one and they managed a food allergy very well. The menu was lengthy with many delectable bites of fantastic flavour. No course was predictable and every one was tasty and unique. The wine matches worked well. Highly recommended.

I Did not know that the restaurant was famous , and a Michelin starred Chef was operating there until a week after my meal there. This is similar to Heston Blumenthal but applied to ..Cantonese and Chinese dishes. Small tapas like portions . The pork bun came in a Chinese White spoon. Was more of a jelly despite looking like... I was surprised to find such a small and "simple" restaurant on the second floor in a house in a small street i hong kong ... to have 3 michelin stars. But after the 15 - 20 course tasting meal I fully agree to the 3 stars! Although some dishes were not perfect, most was extraordinary well made and presented.... More

The restaurant is modern and sleek. There are no traditional Chinese touches here, no red lanterns or the like. Instead there are bare floors and industrial looking walls. The only hint that this might be a Chinese restaurant is the occasion splash of marble. There are three menu choices at Bo Innovation. The standard tasting menu offers nine course,s including... In one word amazing! Somewhere upstairs in Wan Chai you will find this restaurant for those of you who only want to be surprised by food. All dishes are a piece of art in terms preparation, serving and taste. The wine pairing gave the finishing touch! You pay some, but you get something very special!

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
