Suprisingly good and great value

Excellent roasted meats, also served with a side of rice and vegs; wonton noodle soups; ice tea and other Hong Kong style drinks. The environment is very basic. It's a great value!

Basic restaurant and don't go into the kitchen as when we went the floor was very slippery with oil/fat/grease! However, the roast meat is delicious and really I'd like to give this restaurant a four star for that but the facilities are so basic that a three is more appropriate. The restaurant's address is 12 Queen Victoria Street so it... More

A great place that comes with great price and great wonton. (Really BIG wonton) If anyone is looking for wonton soup or noodle with wonton, I would recommend this place. The price is reasonable and affordable. There was English menu on the board as well. So, you don't need to worry about the language. The wonton noodle soup was great.... More

Have lunch twice here this week. Love their bbq pork and steam chicken on rice without sauce (sauce too fat!). Deeeelicious!!!!! Place is crowded during lunch time (1215pm to 145pm). Come early to find a good spot. Upstairs is better. You come for the food not really for the service.

This place may not look like much, but it serves the best Char Sui pork I've found in Hong Kong. Just ask for Char Sui Fan (BBQ Pork with rice)... THEY HAVE MOVED PREMISES FROM 5 GAGE STREET, AND ARE NOW ON QUEEN VICTORIA STREET!

They have transferred to 12 queen victoria st. One of the best suckling pig and char siew Ive tasted. No wonder Anthony Bourdain was all praises for this place. The new location was cleaner and in a nicer more accessible alley.

I bought the BBQ pork and the Roast pork. Sold by weight. Prices are reasonable. The meat looks and smells nice. The meat tasted good, juicy and tender. This shop is popular among the locals as well as tourists. It is also located close to the famous traditional dim sum restaurant Nian Hiang. Meat is best when eaten warm with... More

You come here only for the food... not much service but people are friendly there... typical small shop atmosphere. if you sit at the back of the shop, you sit with the pigs... hanging around roasted or waiting for being roasted... actually not only the bbq pork are good... the chicken, roasted duck are also great. highly recommended!!!

There's an article posted on the window of this shop where Anthony Bourdain says the suckling pig brings you close to heaven. It was pretty good although I'm not a real fan of suckling pig. Lung Kee, does, however, have heavenly char siu-- slightly charred but not burnt, and slightly sweet but not overly so.

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
