Nice Sunday brunch with good food and atmosphere - we're not the only ones who think so - we have tried to get reservations several times and the place is booked. Alot of private functions. Plan in advance.

Few weeks ago I have re-visited this place for lunch again. Unfortunately although the dress code (long sleeve shirt + no plastic footwear) was mentioned during the booking process however it is not strictly enforced - few other diners wearing plastic clothing and footwear.
In terms of the quality of the food during my previous visit it was between fine...

Attended for a conference dinner. It's a lovely location, perhaps 20 minutes by taxi from Central. The food for a large group was surprisingly good, in a British Style, last days of the Raj type of decor. Quite memorable.
tea time at the verandah was the highlight of our last trip to hong kong. we chose the verandah over the much-hyped peninsula because they accepted reservations (sorry, but lining up really just cheapens the experience in my opinion) -- it was a good decision because they did not disappoint! the place had a very old-world colonial feel to it,...

Wow. This place is not only beautiful, but the food and service are fantastic. Repulse Bay is a beautiful area and this restaurant is a classic. It is one of those where they make a lot of the dishes table side. I had a set meal with a lobster theme. Their steak tartare will convert those who cannot stand the...

I was there in January 2012 end of. and it was a fantastic lunch/dinner, infact I went back twice, not only the food is delicious the service too and the cocktails perfect. Wonderful view over Repulse Bay. The manager was very friendly and a true professional just like his team. I would go back there anytime to enjoy this expereince.
With this place being run by the Peninsula Group, there is going to be very little to fault. I love coming to this pace for brunch/ dinner because it exudes old world charm. I love the building in which it is housed and I love the ceiling fans and the marble floor tiling. I come here for an experience and...

My wife and I had dinner there before we finally decided to host our wedding banquet there. Compare to Peninsula, Inter-con or other hotel restaurants for a normal dinner; I found that the price per service and food quality is rather excellent. I found that the staff has a more personal touch.
