Had not been in a long time and sadly it has lost the touch; having the soiled wet towel sit in my table for the length of our lunch, to lamb with curry that was cold, to a frankly uninspired mix of options the place is simply not the same perfection as before. it feels touristy and the bar is... I wanted a treat with my friend to celebrate the end of a fabulous touring holiday which ended in Hong Kong. So after some internet searching we went to the Peninsula. At £75 plus service etc - it's not cheap. I can say it's the best food I've probably ever eaten. There are so many stations to choose from its... More

We had the lunch buffet , staying as guests in the hotel, stumbled in. Sushi, sashimi , salads, cold meat , Indian, Chinese and English hot food. All very good, lovely atmosphere. Then we hit the dessert stations. Crikey O'Malley. Pecan pie just unbelievable . Hot mini Portugese custard tarts that my wife became unhinged over. Vanilla Creme Anglaise millefeuille... More

Diner buffet restaurant in the city center. You can taste french, Italian as well as Chinese and Japanese food, there is a lot of variety from different food styles. There is also a large dessert stall, at least 12 different types, and are all delicious. Place is confortable with friendly service and good value.

The setting is very comfortable and the food choices are top notch. I miss the piano that used to be there but everything was delicious, especially the souflee.

This place where it is situated in the Peninsula Hotel which is renowned for it's grandeur and class. Ambience is purely high-class probably due to the colonial decoration looks. Glad that the dinner buffet I had with my family over that night was a wonderful one. The food was indeed of the highest quality. Ranging from lobster thermidor to sautéed... More

We enjoyed the Old World setting and options for buffet breakfast. They cover all of the bases well, though a greater fruit selection and better pastries would improve things slightly. Great coffee but one afternoon they simply had no dessert on offer (during the holidays?). Service airs on the overly formal, but is very fast and attentive. Buffet dinner is... More
