Description: Situated above the city overlooking Pokfulam Country Park and the South China Sea, The Peak Lookout is a Hong Kong landmark with unique character. The restaurant, having served generations of patrons including both locals and visitors, offers fine food within an elegant heritage house seeped in rich history. This Grade II historic building, typifying 'East meets West' architecture, first began offering light refreshments in 1947 and continues to serve a wide range of international dishes of exceptional quality. The Peak Lookout recently reopened its doors following a stylish redesign, which includes the introduction of a contemporary raised terrace, ensuring a relaxed ambience ideal for al fresco dining. The restaurant's stunning location and natural surroundings means it offers guests a different experience each visit, depending on the time of year.

Came here after doing the Peak trail, and working up an appetite. Ordered the burger and a beer. The burger was cooked at the proper temperature (medium rare) and it was surprisingly good considering the vastness of the menu's cultural options. I'm not sure it's worth a trip to the Peak for the burger, but if you're looking for a... More

This heritage house always makes me smile whenever I go to the Peak. It's good may not be perfect, very typical western cuisine and if weather and seats allow, do ask for an outdoor table. This is the only way for you or appreciate its beauty and differences from other restaurants at the Peak! It was a sunny Sunday with... More

This hasn't changed much - and that is it's charm. Part of the fun is also the journey here by the Peak Tram. I've done it so many times and it still scares me. So a heartening drink at the top on arrival and one to steady the nerves for the journey down is recommended. I can't recall the food... More

travelled the peak tram to the top. What a beautiful view. It was a bit smoggy the day we visited. Would be nice to go up on a clear day. The view was still o.k. Had a great experience at the lookout area. a must to do in Hong Kong.

I just had lunch at the cafe this afternoon and I have to say I was EXTREMELY disappointed. We ordered the burger, the club sandwich and a salmon salad. Good things first; burger was good although expensive but understandable at this location. However the club sandwich which is more than 150 $ was boring and only mediocre at best. French... More

A very beautiful restaurant in a beautiful setting. The food was nice enough but was nothing special and was very overpriced. Service was amateurish. I observed several staff members coughing into hands and scratching noses and then immediately serving customers - not what you would expect for the price you are paying. We expected stunning views but although nice, the... More

I guess this is the best restaurant at The Peak and both food and service is okay without beeing anything special.

After a ride up the Peak Tram (which we waited for a long time) we viewed the shores from the Sky Terrace and then looked for a place to eat. Figured the Peak Lookout (per its name) would have a good view. We arrived about noon and had no trouble getting a table outside with a view of the south/Aberdeen... More

I came here for dinner and the ambiance was breathtaking. It's the perfect getaway from busy and crowded Hong Kong.Very friendly staff. our mains did take a little bit of time and there's room for improvement on the quality of it.We didn't mind much as we had our starters on time. Cocktails were also great. But all in all great experience.... More

I brought my friend here for his birthday breakfast. It was my first time visiting too. It was a Sunday morning around 9am. Tram lower station was empty compare to the long queue in the late morning. We seated at the railing. Have a great view towards the ocean. But becareful not to lean your hand against the wooden railing... More
