Description: Situated above the city overlooking Pokfulam Country Park and the South China Sea, The Peak Lookout is a Hong Kong landmark with unique character. The restaurant, having served generations of patrons including both locals and visitors, offers fine food within an elegant heritage house seeped in rich history. This Grade II historic building, typifying 'East meets West' architecture, first began offering light refreshments in 1947 and continues to serve a wide range of international dishes of exceptional quality. The Peak Lookout recently reopened its doors following a stylish redesign, which includes the introduction of a contemporary raised terrace, ensuring a relaxed ambience ideal for al fresco dining. The restaurant's stunning location and natural surroundings means it offers guests a different experience each visit, depending on the time of year.

this is a very nice restaurant right beside the new developments at the peak. it is not cheap but certainly a glass of wine and main course are affordable. The location is great and my wife and I sat out in the early october evening. My wife said it was the best spaghetti she's ever had in her life. and... More

We went to The Peak Lookout on a sunday with visiiting friends from abroad to enjoy the nice outdoor place! Scanning the menu was the first step back as we found the prices rather high for the kind of cuisine offered! The main disapointment came from the service which was really poor! The food had nothing special. Conclusion: i will... More

This restaurant has not changed much since my wife and I worked in Hong Kong in the 70's very much a place where you can feel and have a hint of the colonial days where the waiters wear black and white. Sitting out in the garden with a meal for three including beers cost in the region of HK 1000... More

When tired after waiting for the peak tram and taking some nice pictures during a walk around the peak, you can have a nice sunday lunch at this restaurant. we got even some good seats without reservation. maybe because the prices are little higher, but the taste of starters and the seafood platter onice was really good and so we... We stopped in becauae the line at the place we wanted to eat at was too long. I had the rib-eye. I grill rib-eyes on a regular basis and never had one better, until I had theirs. Overall the menu is huge and they have a great variety. It's a little pricey but if you want to impress your lady... More

Got to the top in the tram which was fun! I really enjoyed the ride up and down but was disappointed to be confronted by a shopping complex when we arrived.... got to the top though and the views were phenomenal! we went in the morning when it wasn't too busy at all.

Came here after doing the Peak trail, and working up an appetite. Ordered the burger and a beer. The burger was cooked at the proper temperature (medium rare) and it was surprisingly good considering the vastness of the menu's cultural options. I'm not sure it's worth a trip to the Peak for the burger, but if you're looking for a... More

This heritage house always makes me smile whenever I go to the Peak. It's good may not be perfect, very typical western cuisine and if weather and seats allow, do ask for an outdoor table. This is the only way for you or appreciate its beauty and differences from other restaurants at the Peak! It was a sunny Sunday with... More

This hasn't changed much - and that is it's charm. Part of the fun is also the journey here by the Peak Tram. I've done it so many times and it still scares me. So a heartening drink at the top on arrival and one to steady the nerves for the journey down is recommended. I can't recall the food... More

travelled the peak tram to the top. What a beautiful view. It was a bit smoggy the day we visited. Would be nice to go up on a clear day. The view was still o.k. Had a great experience at the lookout area. a must to do in Hong Kong.
