We were a party of 11 and had a Chinese New Year lunch gathering here. The restaurant has a very nice environment where the indoor section has a ceiling which was at least 1 1/2-storey high. The adjacent seating area was like a greenhouse with better daylight but still being seated indoor. Last was the outdoor terrace section where guests... More

somehow their western food got worse, although the Asian food is still acceptable. Nothing in their menu reassemble the food they serve, not just the portion and the color but also the presentation. anyway, stay away from ordering any western food, horrible! the lasagna is filled with creamy cheese and it is the thinnest lasagna in HK if not in... We worked up an appetite and a thirst by walking the trails around the peak before coming in. We were seated in the back patio which was really lovely. The menu is quite extensive, which is often a warning sign for me as I don't trust a restaurant that claims it can do everything well, but we stuck to Indian... More

This restaurant has a great location but certainly does not make the most of it. Although the restaurant was very quiet we were moved from one table to another on arrival before being seated at one that needed cleaning and setting. Staff were officious and intrusive even after we had made it clear we would like less attention. Plates were... More

I picked this restaurant as it used to be very good with a nice old building on the peak with a good view. I decided to bring my girlfriend for a romantic dinner for this most important evening of the year. However it was a big disappointment that the table setting, the food and the service were all mediocre. For... More

My wife and I went to The Peak Lookout whilst visiting HK for the first time. We had read some of the TA reviews, which ranged from good to terrible. Taking our chances, we booked a table and arrived on time. We were seated immediately and provided their comprehensive menu, which included western, Indian, Thai and other cuisines. Probably not... The truth is we were starving and couldnt face bubba gump shrimp co URGGHH. The fish meat and breadth of menu and a brilliant wine list was a revelation at lunchtime. We felt quite sleazy as we munched and slurped through the afternoon. Great

We visited this restaurant 17 years ago and decided to revisit. Take the Peak tram, and as you exit, the Peak Lookout is opposite. If the weather is good, you get great views of Hong Kong from the garden area. The food is good and plenty of it. We had problems with our credit card, and the staff were very... More
