Best Italian restaurant, but overly priced

have been going to this Italian restaurant since it opened 10+ Years ago, and still think about the pasta there and want to go again once in a while. The ingredients are always fresh and nicely prepared. I love the pasta there. The service, considering the $$$, is poor as always at all... read more

they relocated to moreton terrace more than a year. everything they serve is very good. Although most complaint about the service and attitude of the restaurant, i appreciate highly for what come out from the kitchen more. After visiting for years, we just ask Kelvin to recommend what to eat as he knows the flew in ingredients straight from italy... More

This is the only authentic Italian restaurant in HK, their buratta do die for! Yes service is very average, you do need to help yourself with water and wine. And yes the food very expensive. But we are not in Italy (where this type of food will cost ten times cheaper) so to get the best of italy we need to... More

I actually don't even want to rate this restaurant because it's not worth any star. I did it simply because it's required. It's way over priced with such bad attitude in service. The owner himself is the mirror of his staff. I very seldom rate any restaurant on my "never return" list but this one is on top of it.... More

Small and quaint food, authentic Italian. The food is good, but you pay through the nose. If you really want true pasta and delicious fish, you will find it all here in Hong Kong. Portions are not large, and it really is overpriced!

You'll want someone else to pick up the incredibly expensive check. I get it that the ingredients are flown in first class daily from Italy, but really, HK$240 for scamorza?

We had a meal here, but we were SOOOO disappointed. We love Italian and had initially hoped to have a nice meal since it was obvious that the owner was Italian. We were so wrong. The food was simply mediocre at best and inedible in some instances and most was far below par, even for a cheap chain restaurant. A... More

My first impression is clean, simple and family-style decor. There were not many selections o the handwritten menu. We ordered seafood soup, garden salads and grilled squid as appertisers, followed by a main of red shrimp linguine. The food was exceptional, simple yet very delicious. We simply enjoy our lunch. I will recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy... More

Probably the best bowl of pasta outside of Italy i've had in years. The room is an exact facsimile of every mid sized regional Italian town's best restaurant in the 80s - complete with proudly displayed fridge in the middle of the tables (look we can afford one). the head waiter is knowledgeable if you engage him, but brusque. the... Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
