Good food, gorgeous faux-history, provocative art collection, and fun-formality! The food quality is top-notch, albeit fully priced. A real crowd-pleaser and the perfect venue to host visiting guests. Don't miss the long-march bar, library, and outdoor lounge!

Ok, you could be anywhere, but the Art Deco Chinese design and buzzy atmosphere and international clientele (not sure how tightly the members only rule is applied) make this a great choice for a smart but fun evening out. Start with a drink in the long bar the. Go down to the brasserie style restaurant. We had Peking duck, lemon... More

You can have a table only if you re a member or get an invitation from a member. It's a gorgeous place in the old bank of China, surrounded by modern skyscrapers. Nice decor, beautiful ambiance, great food, live show. If have a friend there please ask to bring you there. An experience to do

Went with my family of four for a birthday meal. Simple food cooked beautiful and with flair. Favourite were the battered tiger prawns, in very light melt-in-your mouth deep fried batter. everything was fresh and delivered to the table quickly. Appetising seasoning, low msg and low salt which suits us perfectly. Price was reasonable at hkd2000 for 5 adults worth... More

delightful atmosphere and delicious food ,prompt and attentive service. it makes you feel it is a privilege to be there. Always full of interesting people, it has a buzz.It is reminiscent of what I imagine Hong kong used to like,Chinese food at its best, especially the dim sum which is a favourite of mine. I have been to Hong Kong 7... More

There are plenty of places that bank purely on their brand and reputation/cache - this is one of them. the food here is quite good although you would expect so for the price. People come here for the china club name and the old school colonial vibe. The waitstaff and service is some of the worst you will experience in... More

Didn't expect such a bad service from this type of restaurant. I heard it's very private and strictly members only. Went there twice in a week time. Disappointed with services at both visits. Staff is not polite at all. It is simply looking like a ordinary canteen. One of waitress dropped coke on our clothes. They didn't apologize properly. Simply... More

I love the space. The star of this restaurant is the art. The food is fine, but I can't recall having ever seen waitstaff bring out 4 plates on their arm, plates partly resting on top of food on a lower plate. Serving 8 guests on the large round tables from only 2 locations was interesting to watch. Guests had... More

Very disappointed. Slipped in quality I feel in the last few years and today feels more like a tourist destination rather than the elegant restaurant that it once was. It has always been a buzzing venue, and that certainly isn't in doubt, but the food is really no longer up to scratch compared to the rest of the city at... More
