With its contemporary French cuisine and stunning harbour views, the 1-Michelin star and Forbes Travel Guide Five-star SPOON by Alain Ducasse is one of Hong Kong and Asia's most sought-after dining experiences. SPOON showcases a seductive menu and wine list --- all with French nuances inspired by world famous chef Alain Ducasse. Designed by Tony Chi, SPOON has a contemporary decor with subdued earth tones and stunning views of Hong Kong Island and Victoria Harbour. Of particular note is the ceiling, which is adorned with 550 hand-blown Murano mercury glass spoons. A unique blend of textures are incorporated into the decor with a rust-coloured leather Bar, modern French provencial chairs covered in eel skin fabric at the SPOON Bar and real mink cushions adorning the banquettes . Meanwhile, soft touches in the restaurant, including the uniforms and tabletops, reflect a style which perfectly personifies French elegance. The SPOON Private Dining Room offers an ideal setting for dinner parties for up to 14 guests. SPOON's exclusive Chef's Table, with its bird's eye view of the open kitchen in action, provides the ultimate in private dining for up to 6 guests --- with a tailor-made menu created and presented personally by SPOON Executive Chef Stephane Gortina. Open Tuesday - Sunday for dinner and on Sundays for lunch.

Fine Dinning

My wife and I visited the restruant on my birthday celebration. The tasting menu is really delicious and have a lot of dishes so we get so full. The wines are various but on the high end. I would recommend others to try which could enjoy a very nice view of the victoria harbour.

I've been to probably 50 or so Michelin and other high-end fine dining restaurants in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, Budapest, and Hong Kong in the last decade or so, and I would have to say, overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had. Let me start with the positives. Staff was nice and attentive. There was... More

The food was subtle, refined, and the great... More

We had a table by the window facing the harbor which was amazing. Had the tasting menu for dinner and both I and my partner agreed that each course was excellent. The amuse bouche was really good too. It was our first visit and is now on our list of favourites in HK. Will go again.

The food, service and drinks are most excellent. We started with a couple of cocktails, lovely. Ordered two different mains and the Waiter suggested splitting them in half and savouring each, what a wonderful idea, thank you. The service is Fantastic and coupled with the fabulous views makes this a really special place to go for a treat or special... More

Went for wife's birthday dinner, service is excellent, very attentive. Good selection of wines and cocktails. Not very good if you are wheat intolerant or suffer from peanut allergies as the menu is not very extensive.

Spoon was downgraded from two Michelin stars (2012-1014) to a single star this year (2015). When I ate there in May 2015, it was better than any other single star restaurant I have eaten at, so maybe it should be listed as a 1+ star. The view over Hong Kong harbor is spectacular, the service impeccable, and the food was... More
