Enchanting service and food

Recommended to us by hotel staff. Wonderful view and excellent service. Had the fish dish paired with wine. Superb experience. Pricy but worth it.

Wonderful restaurant, the view is awesome, unbeatable. We were happy with the service and with the quality of the food. The Sommelier help us with a Grower Champagne that we recommend, it was great to taste and experience something more intense and more qualitative than the regular commercial Champagnes that we used to drink. So for the wine experience I... More

World class dining experience by master chef Alain Ducasse. Very classic French cuisine (we had the fish ) which was excellent paired with champagne and a bottle of white wine. Very expensive but worth the splurge if you're a foodie like us.

The eight course degustation menu on New Years Eve was worth all the effort of pre booking Six months in advance. We were repaid with the fun of the evening , the challenge of new flavours and textures in a balanced progression with each dish complementing the next. What more could you want!

Just arrived in from Australia and couldn't be bothered leaving the hotel. Spoon was our 3rd choice of the hotel's many restaurants but it won't be again. We had a fantastic modern French meal. My pigeon was just superb. An excellent bottle of wine and attentive, but not excessive, service. We loved it. Not cheap. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I had dinner at Spoon on Christmas day, and overall we felt it is overrated, with terrible service at a price tag of a fine dining place. A chain of unpleasant events have happening during the night which I think the restaurant needs to be aware of. Firstly, as a guest of two, we were greeted to... More

We seek out restaurants like Spoon and generally research fairly carefully before making a decision to book. The TA forums are very helpful in the decision making process. HK has fine dining establishments in abundance and the consumer is certainly spoiled for choice. The view at Spoon is breath taking- a wonderful harbourside setting for a fine restaurant! It is... As regular guests we went for dinner on 25.12.2015 to "The Spoon" to enjoy a nice Christmas dinner. To start we were asked whether we would like a glass of Champagne. The answer was "Yes" and the waiter showed us a bottle mentioning that this wass "Krug". So far so good. The food was exellent. After checking the bill at... More

We took the discovery menu which embraced a range of signature dishes of impeccable quality. Manager of Spoon Ms Alicia Vegezzi is one of the best. Sommelier Billy is very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. The chestnut veloute and the venison are must tries, Barry took care of us during our evening and I would love to see Alicia and... More
