4th visit - still good

I have to say that Spoon is the only restaurant of its type in Hong Kong I have tried that consistently delivers, time after time. I like the fact that the menu is remarkably understated. My husband's comments with the first taste of his first dish "I can feel it dancing on my tounge"....which pretty much set the scene for the dishes that followed. Absolutely amazing affair, rich with a wintery taste of truffle fused with exotic stocks that made it sensational (those I'm told that we are coming to an end of the Winter... More

Of course it's perfect. Excellent wine, champagne, great view from the tall windows, and most importantly, flawless taste and quality of every meals. Truffle, fish, meat, wide arrange of desserts - all carefully carved and served.

That's landmark on the restaurant map of Hong Kong. Real fine dining, extravagant and delicious. Though the special thing about Spoon is the play of many small details: French chef, view of the central harbor, mixture of Asian delicacy and French chick. It is a very expensive restaurant, but once in couple of years I definitely eat there.

Great meal of refeshment of the month. The foie gras is great, rich in taste but not oily. Beef fillet, duckling and blue lobster is neatly cooked . organic egg is nicely done. dessert is great, I highly recommend the signature cheese cake which is unique around the city. Also, service is great, nice pace of dining and waiter is... More

I've dined at Spoon a handful of times over the past several years when visiting HK, and my dinner last night with my partner was probably my most memorable experience. We had the tasting menu (8 courses I believe), and each course was outstanding. The flavors, textures and presentation were wonderful. We had a front row table overlooking the harbor... More

Our group of four tried the Discovery Menu. Terrific presentations and tasty dishes all night long ! In addition, there was dynamic scenic view of the Victoria Harbour next to us again all night long for free (actually automatically "added" to our bill) The dessert was very unforgettable. Last but not least, their complimentary "gift" was also excellent. (a set... More

Tasted on January 24th 2015, Reading the discovery menu, we were very enthusiastic. Indeed, we will expect a very french and tasteful menu.(truffle pasta, poularde, blue homard ..) Unfortunately, the quality and taste of dishes wasn't here. The poularde : it was a simple disc of reconstituted poularde with a knorr bouillon. The pasta truffle : the truffle wasn't absolutely... I really enjoyed the food here and don't have a single complaint. Worth checking out and the macaroons were amazing.

Beautiful set up for this restaurant. Very good new chef for a restaurant that deserves a second Michelin star ! A must experience in Hong Kong !
