It was a conicidence that Chef Ducasse was there for the Gala Dinner, so we had a chance to meet him and get his autography on his cook book at the dinner. We first had the free flow champagne at the bar and the canape was delicious. It was my hubby's birthday and they arranged the best table in the... More

My friend chose it for my send off, what a memorable experience! Good wine selection and lovely house bubbles! Yummy selection of breads including Scottish rolls (extra symbolic as we met 2.5 decades ago in Scotland!), with choice of salted of unsalted butter! Bisque and terrine to start were tasty. Lamb and chicken for mains were tender! Desserts were also... More

Two nights ago my partner & I had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional restaurant. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the very professional staff. The staff was willing to offer advice about the menu in a helpful and knowledgeable manner; unlike many top class restaurants, the staff at Spoon was genuinely willing... More

The restaurant is very well located in the Intercontinental Hotel with a stunning view of Hong Kong Island. The food is very well prepared and the quality is above the average in town. However, is quite pricey, main courses starts from HK 720. The service is synchronized and very knowledgeable, the waiters are always smiling!

Our dinner was excellent. The view was spectacular, service impeccable. Price no more then a first class New York restaurant.

Spoon by Alain Ducasse would be the ideal destination if you were looking for a romantic evening. The view of the Hong Kong skyline is jaw-dropping and the service is great. The food is good too, but nothing overwhelming considering the quality of food served at other French restaurants on Hong Kong island. We had the chestnut soup, the baked... More

Food is great but not overwhelming. The layout of the place, the service and most importantly the 180 degree of the most beautiful seaviews in the world are all "wow" factors. This is a great place to have a romantic and memorable dinner.

The Spoon formula has evolved over the years - I ate at the Paris location several years ago and liked the options to pair different dishes together. The HK location isn't like that but the food was very good. I had the chestnut soup starter and scallops entree. This is what you'd expect from a Michelin starred contemporary French restaurant... Food and Presentation, Service of the satf was very good. They deserve the Michelin 2-star Award. We had a table by the window and the View of the Harbour was quite a sight. Going back again with family when we are back in HK.

We've visited this restaurant on november 19, 2013 together with friends from Sao Paolo. Although the view is impressive, the restaurants' dishes, atmosphere/ambiance etc are not. Most striking was the fact that because of the airco we were really freezing but after complaining about this we were informed that the airco was managed centrally and nothing could be done. Just...
