Been to Spoon few years ago and has decided to revisit on my birthday with my family. I ordered the Black truffle menu, while others ordered their normal set menu. They have given me a whole truffle which they'd grate a few pieces on each course. the truffle itself is fragrant but did't taste much. the main courses were complimented... More

Wonderful to get a different view on things in a 2 Star Michelin kitchen watching the preparation on a 3 course meal. We observed the preparation for both pâté en Croute (pheasant duck and foie gras) followed by venison Rossini and then sat down to a three course dinner including the above Dishes were fabulous but the star of the... When you are going to try for the first time Mr Ducasse cuisine you surely expect a lot when it come to flavour combination, taste and gourmet cuisine. While the view is really to die for the service top notch the quality of the food was very disappointing to say the least. How on earth can you serve a chicken... More

The minute you enter this restaurant you feel very comfortable. For a high end restaurant you find the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Anything you try on the menu is wonderful! I did the Caviar Set Menu with wine pairing. Fabulous! Trust the sommelier he knows his wine.

It was a conicidence that Chef Ducasse was there for the Gala Dinner, so we had a chance to meet him and get his autography on his cook book at the dinner. We first had the free flow champagne at the bar and the canape was delicious. It was my hubby's birthday and they arranged the best table in the... More

My friend chose it for my send off, what a memorable experience! Good wine selection and lovely house bubbles! Yummy selection of breads including Scottish rolls (extra symbolic as we met 2.5 decades ago in Scotland!), with choice of salted of unsalted butter! Bisque and terrine to start were tasty. Lamb and chicken for mains were tender! Desserts were also... More

Two nights ago my partner & I had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional restaurant. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the very professional staff. The staff was willing to offer advice about the menu in a helpful and knowledgeable manner; unlike many top class restaurants, the staff at Spoon was genuinely willing... More

The restaurant is very well located in the Intercontinental Hotel with a stunning view of Hong Kong Island. The food is very well prepared and the quality is above the average in town. However, is quite pricey, main courses starts from HK 720. The service is synchronized and very knowledgeable, the waiters are always smiling!
