We never thought we'd have cheese fondue in Hong Kong, but after a month of travel in Asia, it sounded great and the TA reviews were good, as well as the openrice.com reviews. We had lunch there and did not regret it one bit. Lovely house salad followed by the fondue. Nice wine list. Since we usually like to have... More

I went to this restaurant on my last night of an exhausting trip to asia, the food is authentic and properly cooked. I had the foie gras which was sublime and a very good veal and mushroom main, along with a half bottle of Bordeaux red wine from the comprehensive wine list. Great meal highy recommend if you are in... More

I had an enjoyable Sunday set lunch with my son last Sunday at the Chesa. Its decor was wood based and in dark brown colour tone - perhaps the designer was trying to make it to resemble a traditional Swiss cottage. The restaurant was, surprisingly, having few customers by 1.30 pm. A strong smell of the cheese fondue was in... More

It's one of my favorite restaurants, both for lunch and dinner. It is decorated as a Swiss chalet. The raclette and cheese fondue are highly recommended.

Swiss food in Hong Kong is not the first thing that comes to mind. Staying in the hotel and pouring, I decided to stay in and try this restaurant. The food was good. Expensive for the quality of food. The decor is a bit depressing as this has no windows and very dark wood.

I gather this restaurant has been around for a long time. It certainly feels like it and not in a good way. The menu is boring and outdated, the staff seem very jaded and the quality of the food is just meh. There is so, so much better in this great city.

Attended the restaurant for lunch and ordered the set lunch. Excellent service and authentic decor - much in keeping with the spirit of the Peninsula Hotel. It was noticeably cold, and many diners wore shawls to keep warm. Maybe they are recreating Swiss weather too!! Ordered chicken for the main course which was excellent and peach Melba for dessert -... More

Food quality and service level very average.restaurant but nice decor If you consider however the high prices(320hk$) for a small plate of white asparagus then this makes it not worth the money, many more restaurants achieve more in this city

This is a small room with tight tables. Kids menu is a bit of an afterthought. The fondue dishes are limited to two cheese specialities and while tasty, they did not explore the possibilities of fondue. Most of the menu was directed elsewhere. We enjoyed the food and survived the decor. Perhaps the highlight was sneaking the kids up to... More

I never thought that fondu concept could be brought to the level of luxurious food before visiting this place. Having lived in Western Europe for 7 years, I have become a food snob and would take dining seriously, but this place exceeded my expectations. Nice chalet decor, both the food and the service were excellent.Expensive but sure, if you want... More
