The cheese fondue and other swiss dishes are extremely authentic and service is impeccable. Try their chocolate chalet cake which is in the shape of a small swiss chalet with fresh cream inside. Great to celebrate special occasions there.

We were looking for a fondue ; the staff was friendly and we were very happy of the fondue. We tested the 2 different types and enjoyed it a lot. The cheeses were tasty. The bread was really good too and they served different sorts, all warm. Expensive but worth it. The wine menu offered a lot of choices but... More

What a fantastic little restaurant located in the Peninsula Hotel. The service is personalised and the food is just like you would see if you were dining in the grounds of Gruyere Castle. Looking for something different then this is great for a date night.

Came with a friend from Switzerland 2 weeks ago, we enjoyed the dinner in a relaxing environment, very good service and not too much interruption hence we could have our own time to chat. I am not keen on Swiss food but have to agree that the food were good and very tradition, value for money :)

went there last night for the fireworks. everything went well except for the main courses, garoupa fillet and duck breast. both tasted boring and bland. couldn't imagine how their f&b could have approved such poor menu choices. enough damage done to discourage discerning customers from returning ...

Dining at Chesa at the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong was the best meal we had in our 2 week visit to China and Hong Kong. Just the cheese fondue would have made it a highlight, but we also ordered a lamb and a veal dish. The chocolate fondue with fruit and brownies would have been enough, but we also... More

This is the dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. Taste very good for Seared goose liver and Crab meat pancake. Warm atmosphere for Restaurant. The professional service and warm attitude from Manager make us feel comfortable. (e.g., during order or help to take photo for us) A foreign waiter carelessly "kicked" my chair during delivery food for another table (3-4... More

The problems with this restaurant started even before I arrived. A friend and I were going to an 8 pm concert at the Cultural Centre across the street. We thought we would go to Chesa as soon as it opened for dinner service at 6.30 pm. A booking might be difficult on a Saturday evening, but we thought it would... More
