We only went there for drinks so can't comment on the food. It was a Monday night and we were cramped into the small bar area on uncomfortable stools. The bar was crowded with a combination of tourists and locals. They do have a good variety of beers both bottles as well as drafts. But they were very expensive. There... More

We love German food and King Ludwig Beerhall serves that quite authentically. If you are looking for a romantic dinner this is not your place. It was Friday night and K.L.B. was full of guests from mainland China because of holiday season. So, it was loud, crowded and lively. We were lucky to have a table without reservation. Later it... King Ludwig Beerhall looks small from the outside but once I entered I was surprised how big it is inside! The decoration of the place is really typical German with heavy wood furniture and lot of wood used for the construction. This restaurant has a lot of caracter and it's a very pleasant place to be compared to those Chinese... More

We had passed by the restaurant a bunch of times during our weekend and when we realized it was a German themed pub with authentic beers and food we knew we had to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Food and beer were both very good and the location was perfect. It also helped that the prices were... More

We saw this place from a bus and I knew we had to try it. I was very pleased we did. They servce authentic German ales and traditional German food. We sat at the very edge of the restaurant, just before the outside section. This afforded us with a superb view of Hong Kong at night. A junk passed a... More

This place is always packed, and no wonder. The food is great, and not too expensive by H.K standards. Pork Knuckle is the speciality, and it's huge. I had the veal schnitzel ,and I was not disappointed. Washed down with quality German beer. I would go again!

Lovely atmosphere, with excellent food. Not a massive choice but enough. French fries are gorgeous as is the pork knuckle. It's not the cleanest restaurant I've been to, with dirty plates being cleared as we were seated and table left Unwiped until requested. However definitely worth a visit. Good idea to book or you'll never get a table !!!

Situated somewhat away from other eateries and bars, King Ludwig is a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy a hearty meal at the same time. They do a number of typical German beers. No surprises, just good enough. The food is great, prices reasonable and very tasty. It does have a outside dinning/drinking area. It would have... More

I totally amazed by my experience there! The food was tasty and the services were up to standard! The restaurant is huge with 100 seats I guess, there is a lot of space for such tables and you will feel comfortable dining there. The live band music made the people very high and created a great atmosphere for gathering and... More
