Good Latte made as requested

I had a perfectly made café latte here together with a Lord Stow egg tart. The attendant made my "very weak, skinny latte with one sweetener" to perfection. I had seen the egg tart in many different shops and thought I had better try one. It is more like what I would call a custard tart but... read more

The egg tarts are yummy. I tried the almond croissant too which is nice. Friendly staff. Oh, the egg tarts sell out by 3pm usually. Try to grab them in the morning to avoid disappointment.

Located right next to the elevators of the Hotel. The Egg Tarts are very good but are not made in the Shop. They are delivered two times a day (I think at 1am and at 5pm but not 100% sure of the timings). During these times its best to get them as they are fresh. The place is good to... More

HK raining season, too wet to walk down the street. Good place to take5, reasonably good egg tarts. Although egg tarts are available at HK KFC, "char-cha-ten" (local coffee shops) too..but this place offers total package; coffee, egg tarts, cosy ambience to chill out! Sure, like any western cafe, you can also get freshly prepared cup muesli, sugar donuts, fresh... More

Great coffee is you like Espresso. Fresh bakery and sandwiches for take away. (definitely much better coffee than the breakfast served in the hotel). Have a small high chairs to seat but is more a take away place than a restarant.

One of the best cappuccino in Causeway Bay, with Macau style egg tarts. It offers a variety of snacks, fruit muesli, donut, croissants, etc.. The shop is small and located at ground floor of excelsior hotel. Definitely enjoy my time there... Try early as excelsior hotel will be gone soon.

Wow, it's super overrated and it tastes like KFC Portuguese egg tarts (Singapore has them) and it's much cheaper. Please eat Tai Cheong egg tarts instead. Some of the tops are totally burnt as well. Not worth the hype. Only reason why people wanna eat these is probably because it's only available in Macau?

Informal eating place frequented by locals as well as residents. Great food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
