First off, let's get things straight. This place is not cheap. It's definitely a special occasion type of place or one you go to for dinner for the amazing food/spectacle. Having said that, of all the places in HK where I've had to pay HK$900/person for a set meal, I have never felt more happy paying it anywhere else. The... More

This is my second visit. They change their surprise menu every 2 weeks. Their food still impress me and I enjoy the way they serve us. Honestly, the price is reasonable if you compare the similar food with other fine dining places. I will go again for sure!

1) Fancy decor, le comptoir style. About 26 seats per dinner service 2) Seasonal dishes, innovative, very fancy yet elegant. 3) Attentive service. Wine lists are ok, corkage is $350.00 per bottle. 4) 900.00 for 8 courses is very reasonable in Central area.

It was a while ago so the memory ain't as clear as usual, but it really was delicious. Theatrical, high quality, good service, visually impressive. Dishes such as the truffle risotto, the abalone, the fish all stand out. We'll go again soon for a refresher... Absolutely worth it. Best meal we have had in HK (so far).

Wonderful dinner full of unique dishes and blended favors. We loved watching the "kitchen" before us prepare these incredible looking and tasting treats. This should be a must but might be hard to get into. 26 seats only. If you are a dessert lover you will not be disappointed!

It's important to know that all guests will be sitting at a bar around the table, so don't expect a very intimate romantic dinner with candle lights. Also there is only one menu, but they will adapt individual dishes for pregnancies and allergies. For the rest, only superlative come to mind to describe both the creativity of the dishes and... Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
