I guess I was expecting more after hearing about this place for quite some time. Food is good but place so small and service is just ok. I know many Vietnamese places outside of Soho which are ten times better.

Went on a recommendation from a friend, worth the visit. They have a drink tub out front so you can have a beer while you wait for a table. Lots of energy and really good food. The salt&pepper squid is fried - I thought it might be grilled - but either way really nice. Crab/eggplant dish also very tasty. Was... More

We arrived on a Friday at 6pm and all was quiet. Decided to sit at the bar as it was too cool an evening to be outside. Good choice Vietnamese beer. Wiines are expensive though. Foood is Asian tapas - and boy is it good. We had 6 dishes and was able to watch the kitchen brigade prepare and cook... More

Chom Chom began life as a private restaurant in a cramped space and morphed into a bistro in an equally cramped, but high concept atmospheric space. This is Hong Kong -- restaurants that operate in 1,000 sf elsewhere are lucky if they get 200 sf here. The food, the atmosphere, and the corner location bring out the crowds on a... More

Another new restaurant where you can't book! so the crowds waiting outside make it seem very popular...I would advise getting there early or there will be a wait. The tables are packed in very tightly and there is very little room to move, so not the place for a romantic dinner. The high ceilings make a huge difference, otherwise it... More

Visited with my partner on a Tuesday evening and loved it. Sat at the bar, looking in to the open kitchen, great spot. There was a real vibrancy to the place and good service. Enjoyed "far east smash" cocktails. Great to keep ordering dishes as and when you want and see them cooked fresh. Small menu but lots of variety.... More

We had a great meal sitting up next to the bar and kitchen, the bar lady was so friendly and helpful with my husbands beer selection. We had the Shrimp pork roll and the shaking beef, yum, would recommend going there.

My girlfriend and I had been really looking forward to some Vietnamese and having been to Nha Trang frequently we decided to try somewhere new. We arrived at around 2030 on a Friday night and were informed that the wait would be around 20 mins. An hour and 40 mins later we decided to cut our losses now bored and... More
