Great food and atmosphere

This place was packed on a Tuesday night - we were lucky to get a table. The food was delicious and the service good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Squishing as many people as possible into a tiny space in true hk style! Good food and good atmosphere it was packed on a Thursday night, quickly served thimbles of beer keeping the conversation flowing while we waited a few minutes for a table. Food was good, I'm no Vietnamese food guru but it was tasty with good choice, some... More

I was taken here by two friends who live in the area, we got a table after 2 minutes. We ordered VFC, squid, bbq ribs, fish and beef and it was all very tasty! Really enjoyed the flavours. The service was fantastic and we were even given complimentary shots after the meal- perhaps because my friend is now a local... More

We went to Chom Chom following recommendation of HK resident after couple unfortunate visits to random restaurants. We met very friendly host at the entrance, although the place is tiny (but very cosy), were offered drinks and received professionally mixed cocktails. Whiskey sour was outstanding. After couple minutes at the bar, we got table for two, ordered food. Cuisine is... More

Of the few restaurants I had in HK. This has to be the best out of the 3 nights. We had wraps, Chicken wings, Corn (it was so good we had seconds), meatballs/ skewered pork in salad, cod etc. Same as any other places we went. It was packed and so we sat on the counter. Service was great &... More

Firstly it is critical that the whole group arrive together as you cannot book a table and so waiting for others is a bit tricky. However the staff did what they could in a limited space (not unusual for HK) to accommodate my wife and I whilst we waited for our friends. There was a prompt drinks service and the... More

Loved everything about this place in Soho. The staff was very friendly, great atmosphere, music, and cocktails. On to the food.....the VFC was outstanding, but so was the salt & pepper squid, and caramel black cod. Will go back again and again...need to try everything on the menu!

Popped in for a drink as its a cool place, good tunes, fantastic wifi and central location to all things SOHO...both waiter and waitress were friendly, talkative so what the heck we stayed for dinner. I've never eaten Vietnamese food before so the helpful waitress assisted in our choices, saw too it my worries over what was in the good... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
