I decided to use the TripAdvisor City Guides app to find the best place to eat close to our hotel and was delighted to discover The Market was in the same hotel!! We pre-booked earlier in the day as knew it would be busy due to the great reviews it gets. Staff were very friendly and quick to clear the... More

My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch and had the truffle pizza and burger...both were very good. We also ordered the smoked salmon for an appetizer which was good but not at the same level as the other food. The only thing that wasn't great was that the aircon wasn't working so it was quite hot. They... More

Got a last minute table at The Market following a day trip to Macau. I had never seen such a vast array of seafood on a buffet before. The prawns were very, very good. There was a great selection of Asian dishes but also had steak, salads, rice. You name it, it was there. For HK$198 per person you got... More

We vetoed our hotel breakfast in favour of the The Market after seeing the reviews and we weren’t disappointed. For around 220HKD each, we had an amazing all you can eat breakfast with lots to choose from and tea/coffee included. There were: - Asian specialities such as fresh dim sum and noodles - Fresh fruit bar with everything from strawberries... More

In a city where Chinese breakfast buffets are famous for, this place does not disappont and even goes beyond expectations. Expect a wide variety of cuisine from western favorites to Chinese delicacies. Fresh breads and sweets make for a nice breakfast finish.

It was hit steamy and humid but some real bargains to be had. Make sure you haggle to at least 75 percent of original price. Be strong and don't be pushed around. State what you want but don't waste people's time. We were grabbed a bit by sellers but were clear if we were just looking or buying.

Great selection of buffet food including many gluten free items. Asian fare is available as well as western food. The food is fresh and tasty but not always hot and the service is great.
