go there for Aperitivo, Dinner or After-Dinner ... just for an Espresso in the middle of the day, or an Amaro late in the night, the location is great and close by other great fun places but a little apart from the too crowded and noisy spots. Food quality...outstanding with prices in line or slightly above the average for HK... More

We were recommended La Piola and we were not disappointed at all. We took the advice of our waiter on the food choice and it was excellent. If you want to eat traditional Italian regional food it is a must. We really enjoyed our time at La Piola.

Not so easy to get a good Italian dinner miles away from home but Il Piola is definitively one of that place where you can feel home and maybe it would be easily compared to one of good Italian resto settle down in the Bel Paese instead. Don't care about what local people would come about this place, this is... More

I was yesterday dinner in this restaurant suggested by a colleague/friend in Hong Kong. as i am chef de cuisine and as passionate about piedmont food i really was not expect to find a real piedmont food in Hong Kong, starting from the vitello tonnato, to the peperoni con bagna cauda, to the alici in salsa verde, it was simply... This bar looks like you would walk into it in a neighbourhood in Milan. Love the brickwork and library of books in there. Gorgeous touches to make it feel very cosy. Delicious coffe and desserts. Great place to sit and people watch or just sit back, relax and read a book . Great wine selecions.

Being a foodie, I always like to try with new places, somehow, it makes feel in-sync with the city. Through the years I saw so many new ventures in food biz rises & falls, HongKong seems never lack of new openings, yet somehow strangely, in the end. all the young and bold and creative chose to leave, left us with... I went to La Piola as a work colleague had recommended me to visit. They had actually told me that it would be an expensive eat out but that the food was good. I had some ravioli with beef ragu. The food was very good but definitely not worth the price I paid. In terms of quantity served, the dishes... More

I went for food and drink to this place, staff were in hurry, rude and very pushy. The supervisor was cold and unfriendly. It is seems to favour certain type of people only.
