Arrived all the way from central, just to be told at 20:00 on a Friday night that it's already closed ?!?! Somewhat disappointing.

Visited this restaurant in January. It was busy sunday. Ordered bagel with cream cheese charged HK$35. They dont issue receipt. I asked for tap water since their coffee is ridiculously expensive than Starbucks. I happened to eat my ordered bagels with fork and knife. I sliced a part and there, maggots on bagel. I certainly wont recommended this restaurant. Poor... More

Unfriendly and rude lady owner. Miserable staff. Waited 45 mins for a latte. Served our drinks in paper cups whist everyone else had proper cups and saucers. Expensive and poor quality and the table was dirty and previous plates etc had not been cleared away.

avoid this place, american woman owner is beyond rude, no wonder the place is empty most of the time, and the staff aren't treated very well ,therefore they are always lacking the staff. another case i assume of wealthy owners with money from elsewhere assuming they know how to run a business, they should definately not be in the service... How much should you pay to a restaurant that doesn't give you what they say they will? This place took 45 min to bring us a yogurt with granola and a slice of quiche. They substituted cheap terrible yogurt for what was supposed to be Greek style. The granola is actually ground up shortbread. The quiche was lukewarm from the... More

I was in their cafe, bought a coffee. Then I asked them a very simple question if they had any glue on hand. The white lady (most likely the owner) responded very rudely back saying, bakeries don't sell glue. No kidding lady. I'm obviously a tourist and in need of some. She was very nice to the Caucasian couple ahead... More

Years ago, when we first moved to China, the "pickens" for coffee and pastry were slim at Stanley. However, over the last year there has been a great addition to Stanley - a shopping and food arcade that rises four levels above ground and offers many choices for dining and coffee. We walked into Saffron for the first time this... More

I hadn't read the previous review before we stumbled across this cafe. It looked wholesome, but what a surprise on how RUDE the staff were. No food suitable for kids, so they went off to better restaurant nearby. Huffy, elderly female cook turfed them out as they came back to greet us. Plenty of other choices nearby including deli, fast... More

Rudest staff I've ever met. Horrifically rude to our children. Food incredibly slow and staff forgot most of our order. Owner charged in shouting at us because there was food on the floor (we have a toddler). They say they are child friendly and have toys which is why we went, but have never felt so disgusted by their attitude.... More
