Food And Service As Good As Ever

A nice cosy restaruant with a decent number of options for dining. We shared a platter for starters and a range of mains were ordered amongst our group. All were impressed with the quality and quantity, pricing was very reasonable too. All in all a very good dining experience in terms of food, beverages and service, will definitely be going... More

I shared a meal with good friends and family. All had different tastes but managed to satisfy all. The Moroccan Seafood Paella was almost as good as what I generally prepare but complemented by cous cous was a great contrast. The lamb shank and spicy sausage were enjoyed by the two people who ordered and envied by those who wished... More

Small intimate space. Simple food with excellent flavor. Nothing our table had disappointed. Go with a group of 2-4 and get the appetizer sampler and one of the two mixed meat platters. Excellent way to try a large portion of menu. The lamb shank, sausage and grilled chicken were outstanding. Try the baklava dessert, it is unique and special.

In Soho, mid-levels, a small little place with good decor and ambience which seems to be a favorite with locals. On the night of our visit, there were only two small tables left by the time we finished eating. There were a couple of groups already there when we came who were still there when we left. We had a... More

Mid levels restaurant offering a middle east theme and cuisine to match. The lamb shanks were slow cooked and fell off the bone whilst the shish kebabs were a little tough. Their speciality is the tagines which one of our party was impressed with. Portion sizes are good and the prices are reasonable. I am not a fan of the... More

After a foot massage/pedicure we were a bit hungry so we chose Le Souk as a stopping point for drinks and shared a large appetizer plate - everything was delicious! Check this place out.

Good healthy food options available - try the fig salad. The hommus and fresh baked bread is excellent!

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
