A spanish restaurant in Lan Kwai Fong

This is the second Mesa 15 in Hongkong I don't know if they closed the one at Hollywood road. I recommend the Galian octopus good dish and the Paella is also quite good.

I've been coming here for almost 2 years and have never had a bad experience. Food is always very good indeed using the best and freshest ingredients available. Whilst the price of the business lunch has crept up it is still good value for money and I'd have hesitation to recommend Mesa 15 to anyone wanting a good Spanish meal.... More

Spanish cuisine has been booming in HK in the past couple of years! So many new tapas places opened all over the city, and I remember I had my first Spanish dinner in HK in the old Mesa 15 on Hollywood Road about 3 years ago - that was the moment I started to fall in love with Spanish food.... Having tried various "Spanish" restaurants such as Fofo, 22 Ships, and Boqueria, decided to try Mesa 15, which is now in Lan Kwai Fong. I have to say this restaurant is seriously underrated compared to the above 3 restaurants. We started off with scallops, sea urchin and fried calamari which were all excellent. We then moved onto our mains of... More

Mesa 15 has shifted to a new location in LKF and a new restaurant by the same team, called Numero 15 has opened at the Hollywood location. The restaurant is more casual and focuses on tapas. After a great experience at Mesa 15 some time back, we decided to check out Numero 15. Sad to say it was very disappointing.... More

Food is balanced - a little fussy. Foams and bubbles! Good Spanish wine selection. Nice decor - service is very good. I found 4 tapas restaurants within a 2 min walk. Give it a go!

We had spent a longish holiday in NZ and were on a stopover in HK. We are complete foodies but get quickly bored with chinese food. So we just happened to walk past Mesa 15 and it just looked a perfect way to treat ourselves to some fab european food. We opted for the chef's tasting menu which included a... More

I accompanied my husband on a business trip recently and while walking on Hollywood Rd, we came across Mesa 15. The next day, I decided to go there for lunch alone. I tried their buffet lunch and I wasn't disappointed. It isn't your typical buffet spread with heaps of food which can put you off sometimes. Instead, they were elegantly... More

Local Hong Kong friends recommended that I paid a visit to a rising Spanish restaurant named Mesa 15. They simply told me "go, you will like it". Being Spanish, I always take recommendations for "authentic" Spanish food in Asia with a pinch of salt, but having a fine taste for food as they do, I was piqued by their statement... More

We passed by Hong Kong 2 weeks ago and a friend had advised us to try the Mesa 15, a Spanish restaurant. We are very happy to have followed his advice. The place is rather small and it was difficult to get a table. We were obliged to take an early dinner but we do not regret it. We decided... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
