One of my favorite restaurant in Hong Kong , i love the decoration and the food. The pekin duck is soooo fine and succulent ( make sure to have it reserved in advance ) , the dimsum are fine and very tasty, everything we had here was really amazing. It is one of my must stop each time.

The duck was excellent quality, super soft, not fatty and really tasty! The decor of the restaurant was opulent, traditional and the staff were dressed stylish and traditional. My parents visited HK for the first time and were very impressed. The wine list is excellent but very expensive. We selected a bottle for $780 which was good but probably should... More

Revisited this up market Shanghai period décor establishment. Weekday lunch clientele seemed mostly business related. Seating was comfortable and spacious enough. Was not disappointed by the food which was consistent from dim sum through to dessert. Perhaps the taste was slightly Westernised, but was ideal to match with good wines. Service was prompt and attentive.

We had the most wonderful dinner here. It feels very grand - the setting reminded me of the high tea at Claridges in London. Very good taste - but extremely traditional - like being at a posh great aunts house. The food was sublime. I particularly enjoyed the crispy goose, the crab and truffle dumplings and the oysters. The service... More

I don't know about you but if I am not comfortable I simply cannot enjoy the food. It is not just a question of the chair or the proximity to the next table but embraces things like the ceiling height - low ceilings make me feel oppressed - lighting, decor and general ambiance. Of course, if the onoy thing that... More

We came here for a rather impromptu dinner with friends. Staff is very baby friendly by the way as our friends had their newborn with them. Choices of dim sum and mains are very elaborate, decoration elegant and above all, much less noisy than China Club (both places below to same group) where we've been a few times before. If... More

We were taken here by expats in the know. Fantastic authentic cantonese food in a classical setting. Service authentically chinese too so a little erratic. Would definitely go back !

Average food in a restaurant that felt rather cramped. Struggled to recognise the beef in two of the dishes. Kept getting bumped by passing waiters. There are far better restaurants near by.

If you want good Cantonese food, antique chinese atmosphere but want to eat in a quiet and relax place, this will be where you should go.

Whether it is for a business lunch or meal with friends, this restaurant is worth a visit every time I am in HK. The quality of the food is excellent. Love the ambience and the details of the restaurant. Try it.
