Description: A split-level restaurant resembling an elegant mansion in Shanghai during the 1930s, with superb Victoria Harbour views, cosy residential decor, glass ceiling and a fountain. The cosy home ambience is enhanced by rich Santos rosewood timber, while natural stone creates a light airy feel at the lower veranda. The fountain with distinctive glass mosaics, custom-made carpets, wooden furnishings and draperies all add to the final residential touch. One Harbour Road is best known for serving traditional homestyle Cantonese cuisine, lovingly prepared and graciously presented. The Chef’s Table private room inside the kitchen features exclusive innovative dishes and presents a rare glimpse into the workings of the kitchen.

One Harbour and Shatin Hyatt have outstanding Peking Duck. They have the best duck in Beijing and through that learning experience they have successfully transferred that skill to Hong Kong. In Shatin it's even more elaborate but at this restaurant the tastes, the crispness of the skin without underlying fat was just excellent. The other very high quality Cantonese food... More

The service here is truly top-notched. Everything was well thought off and the staff are very well prepared for our advanced booking - the wine, the brithday cake, greeting us and helping the old folks to the table, taking our pictures etc etc. Each of the waiters/waitress made every effort to make us feel at home- one of them even... We were traveling with a vegetarian, and unlike many restaurants in Hong Kong, they were very helpful and provided an excellent array of choices. My wife and I, the meat lovers, were also well-served. Great place!

I do really like this restaurant and have always had wonderful food, but I agree with the review by Peter D below and I really question the increased price levels I had on my most recent trip last week (Nov 2014). It just seems unjustified. However our dinner was truly delicious and I particularly recommend the shrimp spring roll. A... More

We were recommended this restaurant and decided to treat ourselves, knowing it would be expensive, but it cost us about £250 for two. We had two beers and two glasses of wine. We had the set menu where you choose three of the main dishes to share. The staff were very attentive and helpful, but we came away feeling that... More

We had pre booked a window table for dinner three months in advance, but our table was to one side and not such a great view of the harbour. There was building work going on on the pier below which was distracting and in some ways detracted from our overall enjoyment of the setting. The food itself was excellent but... More

There was a special anniversary set dinner menu when we visited One Harbour. We gave it a try and it was different from the regular Chinese flavours. I would have given it a four star rating if not for the very slow service.

This is a fantastic restaurant for top quality Cantonese food. Great service, atmosphere and fantastic view of Hong Kong harbor. For a special treat pre-reserve a duck. I never miss this spot when in Hong Kong. The only caveat is it is quite expensive.

Had lunch there. The food was excellent, especially the dim sum and the roast meats. The service was excellent, and coupled with a nice view, an unforgettable experience!

This is one of the city's finest fine dining Cantonese restaurants. The cooking here is good enough to redefine anyone's experience of Cantonese cuisine, and the view glorious.
