Quite Authentic

Good food here. They use a lot of fresh Thai herbs which gives the food an authentic flavour. The location might put a few people off but there is quite a lively atmosphere in there. Great place to start a night in Wan Chai.

This some 30-seats restaurant is run by the Thais. Two menus are available at lunch time : a la carte and set lunch. I usually take the set lunch and select one from the 6 choices. The set includes main dish, soup, dessert and drink. Fried noodle in Thai style is always my favourite. The price is very reasonable compared... More

I dropped in and had Larb Moo and a coconut. Just what I needed at the time. Food was pretty good. Service was fast and pleasant. Prices O.K. for HK. Not flash, but good.

My fiancée and I found this place by mistake, but it turned out to be a very nice meal. The restaurant is not big, but personally I think it makes it more personal. The owner welcomed us, took our orders, and talked to us for a while (mostly because the place was empty as it was Wednesday at around 3pm).... More

Went with a friend for lunch. The food was very very average, the service efficient and nothing else, the setting basic and for all this the price was too high although we only paid 400HK$ for our meal...i would not go back, there are many better options in that price range.

This is still a good place to eat Thai food in Hong Kong and the food is tasty and well done. The service used to be first class with food on your table in an instant, this time the service was slow and despite saying bring all dishes at once they were served in dribs and drabs. There seemed to... More

This is by far the best Thai food in wan chai. Thai farmer has great prices on their menu to go along with their authentic great tasting dishes.

Excellent Thai Beef Salad and Tom Yung Kung. I tried 2 restaurants in Stanley and one next door looking for the flavor that I missed since moving back to the US. US Thai restaurants are missing that special flavor. Found it here. Nice spice, thin slices of beef nicely seasoned with a little charred surface for flavor. Easy to eat.... More

Convenient location in wanchai . Small place with nice service . Food is ok but portion is a bit small . Enough for lady but not enough for a big guy . So have to order extra fish to make us full .

Small restaurant on the Lockhart street strip. Came here for lunch. Simple seating with not a lot of tables, but as every other review says, very decent food and for the area, quite reasonable prices. A good stop for a quick bite

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
