Nice Thai restaurant in Wan Chai

The restaurant has a nice ambience and is in the middle of Wan Chai. The food is good. The service actually was the best in the overall review and they really took good care of our family and are quick and competent. A nice place to have a decent Thai dinner or lunch

Not the first time my friends go there and I have to say that the food is good and also the atmosphere is nice especially on the balcony. The food is good standard Thai and the draft Thai beer is very good. Nothing to complain.

I love Thai food and was encouraged in by the attractive looking foyer. I ordered and asked the manager for the Wi-Fi password as I needed to catch up on a couple of emails, I was met with a scowl and was thrown, Frisbee style, a laminated card with login credentials. A very un-Thai greeting. The waiter was friendly enough,... More

This restaurant offers very good Thai food at a reasonable price! I went there already with friends, colleagues, visitors from overseas... always very positive feedback. The staff is very friendly too. I can highly recommend the prawn sashimi and the seafood rice.

Not the worst Thai food I have eaten, but it was very much a mixed bag of chinese food flavoured with green chillie and basil to produce a not so authentic Thai meal. But I am not knocking the fusion attempt as the Green Curry was very nice, and large portions too. Only minor gripe was the lack of English... More

The food was ok not brilliant and the staff was friendly until it comes to payment. Thai Delight was the first restaurant which charge me a service fee and reject my tip, even when I said they should keep it. BTW: it was only a small amount, as they charge already a service fee. The staff develop a very bad... More

The standards here have dropped alarmingly and not so the prices. The food was tasteless, hardly like Thai at all. The Lemongrass chicken should have been bones with batter not as described on the menu. Staff inattentive and the whole place just smells of neglect. Try the small Thai Kitchen across street, the don’t take plastic but the food is... More

I was told by a friend to visit Thai Delight on Lockhart Road. So I headed out to Wan Chai to find the restaurant situated between two seedy bars. The restaurant is on the 1st floor and doesn't have any wheelchair access, so not a great place to take old grandparents. The restaurant had two seating areas, one which was... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
