We went there for dinner after watching Symphony of lights at Avenue of Stars. Goose meat was sold out (which was quite a disappointment because it was one of their popular dishes according to the menu but we understood it was late). Hygiene seemed to be an issue (there were noodles on the washed spoons). Waiters were not too friendly... More

We had a late lunch at Macau Restaurant in Lock Road, Kowloon before leaving for the airport. We had a plate of spicy hokkien noodles and a plate of Singapore noodles for a total of HKD70. Both meals were very big and we couldn't finish them. Very tasty and a good price.

Some restaurants in Hong Kong can be hit-and-miss but this place offered consistently good food with friendly - albeit curt - service. I was a regular during my 4 months in Hong Kong.

The restaurant is located quite strategically near the shopping centre in TST area. Me and my friends were looking for a good breakfast place so we went to the most crowded restaurant which was Macau Restaurant. I ordered the wonton soup, pineapple bun, and the Portugese Egg Tart. The taste was okay but I expected more from such a crowded... More

Offered to come back in morning to pay and left driving license which was refused so two waitresses followed us to langham hotel where we stayed and after getting cash advance at... More

Since I was staying at Urban Pack Hostel these Macau Restaurants were right behind the hostel. It was very convenient and also the food was great! I loved the Macau style egg tart!

I enjoy a little adventure when eating a quick lunch alone, however if there are language barriers it can be challenging in certain areas finding a quality place where ordering is easy. Macau on Lock Road is very close to all the best shopping, the subway station, the Sheraton and Peninsula Hotel in Kowloon. I ordered the shrimp & pork... More
