the breakfast is fine

not too many options during the breakfast time, the food was ok if you fancy have western food. However,if you prefer to have Chinese breakfast the breakfast in MO bar might disappoint you. But I have MO bar provide the fresh juice during the breakfast time, and with comfortable environment.

Such friendly staff, especially at breakfast. Thank you Joiz! Breakfast buffet is a wide variety of great food. We also had afternoon tea here and had something off their all day dining menu. Great MO quality and service. This was definitely our favourite place to be in the bustling Hong Kong.

And then you have Amzing MObar all day dining breakfast is turned out in the morning with a full array of western and locale Chinese’s food coffee and tea all comes with the buffet . Even the wait staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you walking in the doors I’ve asked for to do and see…wow I was... More

Mo Bar puts on one of the best buffet breakfasts in HK, but getting their staff to make a booking for you has really turned me off. They make it as difficult as they possibly can. But if you do manage to get a table, the food & service are only second to Cafe Grey

Not the usual review so need to start with a bit of historic background info: Back in 2004/2005 we were staying at Sandy Lane in Barbados -my daughter ordered a beefburger for lunch on the beach and it was THE best burger we had ever had! So much so that all we could look forward to for our return visit... More

Very much enjoyed tea at MO Bar in the Landmark Mandarin Oriental. Their take on tea was trendy and fun. Service was good, the food was delicious, and the tea was fragrant. Great people watching! Price point was reasonable for tea, high for champagne and cocktails. This is pretty typical of hotel bars, especially of that caliber and in that... More

We enjoyed the MO Bar throughout our stay at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental. The staff actually got to know us and would always say, "Welcome back" when we arrived. The flirtini was the best drink on the menu.

The only thing wrong with this space is its popularity, but its excellent staff smile and soldier on with style through the evening cocktail hour mayhem. Not cheap but deliciously designed drinks, both classic and trendy, are served up in a stunning setting. This bar is actually good all day, successfully morphing from beautifully presented tea sessions and lunches to... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
