Great Lunch in colonial building.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to the Star Ferry and were not disappointed. The restaurant has a great patio though we chose to eat indoors. The dining room was wonderful, very authentic old colonial with painted walls. It really gave you a feeling of being in old Hong Kong. The food was... read more

Found it a nice restaurant especially for Dim Sum. Alot of variety of Dim Sum. We tried the Peking Duck and it was also quite nice. On the downside, I can´t exactly say the service is bad, but there is quite the language barrier. It took me alot of effort to be able to order simple water as few staffers... More

I was in this place for a special business dinner with many attendees and a fixed menu. This restaurant is at beginning of Canton Road in the Heritage complex. Food was very good for quality. Service very attentive and friendly.

We visit this restaurant for lunch time, bad service from waiter when we just asked for make sure our payment to pay in hkd dollars , not my local country currency. So rude , please others don't visit this restaurant, if you need service like hotel service. So disappoint.

隆濤院 Loong Toh Yuen The WORST dining experience in Hong Kong ever. There was sufficient wait staff but the service was horrendous. We made several orders and they took forever to deliver the food and many times, the orders were ignored. We would order one single item, and they either delivered NONE or they delivered four The Visa One for... More

Many traveler diners. The staff are very polite and helpful, however, the food were awful and it was a slow getting our food .It was an extremely busy, noisy evening. The décor is a little more upmarket than the average Chinese restaurant. “The food was really disappointing!!” Well the beef was over cooked hard and dry like its been around for... More

This restaurant serves a very unique pink shrimp dimsum (hagao) and it is really delicious! Seatings are comfortable and they have huge round tables that is really accomodating for big groups of families to dine together. Definitely must be a checklist while you are staying near Heritage 1881!

I had a wonderful night on 18 July 2015 with my friends and families at Hullett House. We held a Chinese style wedding dinner with the elegant décor and unrivaled views. I tried Dim Sum at lunch and Afternoon tea before but this time it is my first time for dinner. It surprised me that they serve one of the... More

1881 heritage, the former Royal Hong Kong Marine Police headquarters building, now has a hotel and shopping mall. It is good to know that Hong Kong, known as “the vanishing city” has begun to care about the traditional buildings and scenery, but the heritage also is tarnished by the commercial display overkill. Anyway, we headed to the hotel’s Chinese restaurant... More

We love Dim Sum, and we try many different types of restaurants. Most Dim Sum places are noisy, busy, and fun. That's totally OK for us, but once in a while, even in Hong Kong, we want to eat good Dim Sum in a quieter place. Loong Toh Yuen is perfect. It's located right in the busy neighborhood of Tsim...
