- With all-you-can-eat menu, can try as much as you can, including daily soup, chinese herbal tea, dim sum, noodles and dessert - taste great - Recommend someone would like to try something new, there are some food you cannot try outside, spring roll with preserved egg and young ginger, spring roll with salmon.

Was admiring the 1881 Heritage and thought why not try the food at this place and we were both pleasantly surprised. The chicken feet was quite different and good tastes to some others that we've tried to date. The tea was beautiful. Prawn pork dumpling was with real prawn on top of the sho mai - tastes okay. The scallop... More

Walking about Heritage 1881 we came across the Loong Toh Yuen Cantonese Restaurant and being lunchtime opted to sample the Dim Sum on offer. The restaurant is upmarket authentic Cantonese...think dark heavy wood carvings and stone sculptures and you have an idea of what to expect..there's none of the gaudy kitsch which can be associated with some "Chinese" establishments. Service... More

Stopped for morning tea at the beautiful Hullett House. Sat on the Parlour balcony on a glorious clear sunny day. Service was very warm and welcoming particularly from Jeff. Great respite from bustling crowds below! Tea was lovely. We didn't order any food but what we saw looked great!

The location is great as it is close to the Star Ferry so I would highly recommend taking the Star Ferry from the Hong Kong side and having an afternoon 12:00 pm to 3:00 meal here with the fixed price menu. The décor of the restaurant is nothing short of elegant, the service was impeccable and the food above average.... More

There are loads of places in HK where is knwon for gigantic afternoon tray and set. I also watned to try P hotel's one, but my friend who is local in HK recommended this space instead. We booked the terrace, nice weather make me feel more comfortable and the afternoon tea set they presented was really good. It was worth... More

The setting is like an oasis in a city of busy. Even though the restaurant is just slightly removed from one of the busiest areas of the Kowloon just sitting there is so relaxing. If only the food lived up to that setting. It's easy to understand why the pricing needs to be high but for what is charged the... More

Average dim sum. Obviously, the money you paid goes to the environment. Cannot name any particular dim sum which must order. Good place for business lunch

I went with a friend who wanted the all-you-can-eat choices (fewer choices than the main menu). I am a pescatarian who is wheat intolerant, and the buffet left me with almost nothing to eat (2 options on the main buffet menu, and then some of the desserts). Of course, if one person picks the all-you-can-eat, the other diner has to... More

This old Harbour police station no longer has the majestic views when it was build mid 19th century but its beautifully restored as a hotel & restaurant with a superb veranda. It's therefore all the more disappointing that the service is sloppy, slow and non attentive. It takes forever to get a menu, then a lifetime to get attention for... More
