Okay, the location is fine. View at the harbour is okay. Unfortunately, that is about the only positive thing about this restaurant. It is overpriced and the food tastes likes it is made by a chef without tastebuds. So, definately a no-go in my opinion....

It's a great place to combine pre-dinner drinks on their amazing roof top terrace with reliable service and good food in their main dining room one floor below. The fare is typical steak house with solid quality meats and fish, salads, desserts, etc. It's consistently reliable for good food and service in a warm, contemporary environment.

It's a great place for having drinks with friends in the evening : nice rooftop with a great view on the harbor and Happy Valley racecourse.

Arrived a bit early and enjoyed the spectacular view from the rooftop bar. The attitude of the staff leaves a lot to be desired and if they smiled it might help to lighten the stagnant atmosphere. Myself and 5 friends ate in the restaurant which has the same view. The staff yet again appeared to be miserable. The food eventually... More

Been here a few times but decided it's high time it got a review. First it's not a low cost place but that is the only thing to think about - you get what you pay for and this is H K 30 floors up. Go to the bar first 1 floor above the restaurant and enjoy some stunning outdoor... More

Very good value for money , amazing Australian meat , very nice view , we had a table close to the window, the Australian lady in charge of the floor was very attentive and professional, she recommended a white wine from Barossa valley that was amazing.

Don't expect to get to Wooloomooloo Wan Chai from Hennessy: the access is on Johnston Road unlike mentioned in the address. The SOP is to have a drink first on the rooftop terrace, enjoying the company and the view on Wan Chai, the harbor area and Kowloon. As a rooftop bar in HK this is a decent value for money.... More

I took my best buddy to dinner here for his 50th. Looking for a low key but high quality venue Wooloomooloo Wanchai really delivered. From the amazing views from the rooftop bar to the corner table looking through floor to ceiling glass, the ambience is excellent. Then comes the bone in ribeye for 2 people (amazing) and the newly updated... More

Great, friendly and attentive staff. Interior design modern and contemporary, very Western style. A bit too dark maybe but you have a great view over the city. Steak was perfect, sauces not special and cold served but the whole atmosphere was great. After dinner drinks on the roof top are highly recommended. Overall too pricey I must say.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
