I hear this placed closed. Does anyone know of they reopen again and if so, where? I really like this place and it's such a pity that they closed.

We had dinner here the night we arrived in HK. It was relaxing and the food was plentiful and delicious. Would definitely recommend this place.

Oh what a lovely place Cicada is! Situated right next to the Midlevel elevator, the restaurant is vibrant with young and old, international and local. Food is fusion and is really good. Whatever you order from the menu is worth it. My personal favourite was chicken salad, duck rolls and sauté beef. Pork ribs are also awesome. Bad news: the... More

The drink menu and happy hour was the highlight of our experience. The food was good but not spectacular. The beef with kimchi was the best food by far so I recommend that but everything else was just ok for an area with great variety.

Cicada is located almost slap bang in the middle of Hong Kong’s trendy Soho district that is dominated with bars and restaurants and a great atmosphere. Its also located right outside the mid level escalator so you can give your tired feet and legs a rest! Cicada styles itself as an Asian Tapas bar and is inviting from the outside... More

Definitely one of my favourite places to stop by for drinks after work. They have great cocktails at very good prices. The items on their menu are also good and a special mention goes out for their risotto balls [ordered from a sister-restaturant next door], their korean beef strips, five-spiced squid and vegetable dumplings. Their 'bellini's' are a big hit... More

We've lived in HK for almost 2 years and never tried any of the Enoteca group restaurants in SOHO, altho we spend many a Saturday night dining and cocktailing in Central/SOHO. Decided to try Cicada based on a listing and review we read on Sassy HK. Reservations are a must and we were lucky to get one a few hours... More

This is only a review of the drinks, we have never eaten here. Cicada has - like most places in this area - a good happy hour, so we always pop in for a couple of cocktails whenever we are in Hong Kong (every couple of months). The cocktails are excellent, we have tried several off the menu and they... More

A pleasant enough evening. Food was nice but not great. Dont agree with the other reviews about it being a great restaurant. So many other better options in Hong Kong. Service was average. Friends of staff seemed to be drinking at the bar and seemed to get all of the sevice.

I went with my son on Friday eve. You have to book as its very popular. We had the duck and mango salad, pork ribs, vegetable rolls, and tandoori chicken tapas; they were simply superb. My son who is a great cook was very impressed an ate most of it! Good wine list and a buzzing atmosphere. Big recommendation
