Duetto is now called Tamarind and it's great as ever!

Come duirng evening and you will have lovely view over the harbour and great food. It used to call Duetto but after renovation, it;s call Tamarind. It is a good spot if you want to see firework during Chinese New Year.

I don't know about the positive reviews here but I suspect some are from management. This restaurant's precedessor was Duetto an Italian and Indian restaurant that was a flop and now reinvented to a Vietnamese, Thai and Indian restaurant. Now when you see dishes from all three regions, you probably think great, now I can try everything. But this is... More

It's very hard to find an affordable dining option in Hongkong with a good outdoor area. The Duetto is exactly that with a excellent Indian food to match with. If you are planning to visit over a weekend, make sure that you reserve it in advance as this is a popular place among expats. Having been to almost all the... More

Honestly, I wouldn't go here for the view. The Al Fresco area is nice but dont expect much for the view. The Lunch Buffet was fantastic! They offered a good variety of viand, rice, pasta and even beverage. I'd say they were a little understaffed, the servers however did their best to catch up and we appreciated it. I had... More

Beautiful place to enjoy a great view of Hong Kong. I like the original idea of mixing Italian and Indian food, especially with French champagne Veuve Cliquot. I went there with some friends, each of us ordered a dish and we shared, everything was delicious.

Good food but service really needs some improvement. Waiters spent too much time chit-chatting

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
