Whilst staying at the hotel in January my wife and I enjoyed a very good set dinner at the Man Wah. She is allergic to shellfish and the staff were careful in arranging substiute dishes for her. Notwithstanding its position and the quality of the meal it is quite pricey, particularly for the wine. Incidentally the wine list is prodigious.

Had a pretty good meal here. Service was top notch. Beautiful room. Food not nearly as good as at Four Seasons. And overpriced.

delicious, delicate, tasty food with attentive service. Enjoyed the scallops with tofu and then duck all our dished were yummy. The environment worthy of Mandarin Oriental 's high standard, the staff well trained. Enjoy every visit

We ate at this wonderful restaurant twice! Food was totally delicious! Roast goose, air dried beef with tangerine peel was a taste sensation, vegetables, Peking duck prawns with broccoli. The list goes on and on! Service so amazing, so friendly and warm, the sommelier full of great suggestions. All in all a truly wonderful dining experience!

Food was excellent and nicely presented. My local friends ordered their famous peking duck, which didn't disappoint. Service was really good and I like the little gesture of giving us souvenir box of a jasmine flower bulb. We paid 1,400hkd for 7-8 dishes, desserts, a bottle of champagne and 2 bottles of wine to share among 8 people. Value for... More

Had a wonderful family dinner here on 29 December during our Hong Kong holiday. The staff was friendly and attentive, and worked to create menu options for our son that were free of his allergens (egg, dairy, nuts) which can be difficult to do, especially given the cuisine throughout the region. We did not stay at the Mandarin Oriental during... More

We went with my sister-in-lawand friends a few days before Christmas - had wanted to go previously but they accept only children 6 years and older. The setting on a high floor of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel is great - try and get a table by the window, for the harbour views. Service was extremely professional and attentive, the waiters... More

Man Wah is one of my favorite restaurants in Hong Kong. Sitting on the 29th floor of the Mandarin Oriental with a great view, five star service and some of the best bites ever!! We had a good sampling of dim sum dishes, a hairy crab toast (special on the menu because of season) and a rice dish with crab...best... More

Great service, stunning views, but didn't really rate the food here. We really wanted the pork but it had finished, but went for the seasonal speciality of Mud Crabs. Prepared by two black-suited ladies in fine style, but sadly I didn't really like the muddy taste, which was not their fault. Everything else was so-so, and it was very very... More

This is a unique experience at a price. I was lucky enough it came as a wedding present. The staff was very attentive, even in the toilets. They take care of the smallest detail. Waiters were very knowledgeable about the food components. It is renown by its dimsum. We had some specialities of the chef, mainly with hairy crab. All... More
