The Bar at The Peninsula Hong Kong offers a stellar list of craft cocktails, rare single malt whiskies and vintage Armagnacs served in an exceptional setting. The Bar is the perfect place to unwind after work, cement business ties or enjoy a quintessential Martini, accompanied by the sounds of authentic jazz pianist Pierre Eugene, who brings life and song to the ambience of warm, understated elegance.

Be aware that many places in Honk Kong have a bar opening time starting in the afternoon; @ Peninsula this is 15:00 hrs. Lovely Sauvignon Blanc, a good hot red spicey wine; effective and kind service and one gets complimentary bites. Great athmosphere. Pity there is no views, those are beheld for the high tea guests that may sit at... More

went of a drink before going to Gaddis. we were both dressed up and had noted the dress code. my wife wore sandals (not flip flops) and was told (politely) that next time she would need to wear shoes. if they mean that toes need to be covered then they need to say so. drink and other service was fine... Apart from a strict dress code, even for hotel residents, the Bar is very comfortable, the selection of drinks is huge!! I tried The Vespa, which was probably the best Martini I've ever had! Also munched on Lobster Crackers....think Prawn crackers but Lobster!! And chocolate Almonds....not chocolate covered, more infused! Excellent!!!

We only had time for one visit to the Bar on Level 2 and even though it was a Saturday night, it was not crowded and there was an excellent variety of drinks. Service was exemplary.

The Peninsula renovates itself constantly ,adapting to changing requirements and tastes of their guests . The traditional Bar on the first floor has been incorporated to the Verandah restaurant and so a new bar was built in front of the old one creating a cozy ,British ,wood panelled wonderfully decorated intimate atmosphere . You can hardly hear your neighbours and... More

My boyfriend and I recently visited The Penninsula for pre-dinner drinks. Starting off in the Felix Bar (avoid it - very disappointing!), we then ventured into the main hotel bar on the 1st floor. The atmosphere was great, a few other customers quietly enjoying drinks and a guy playing the piano. We sat at the bar and ordered a selection... More

I've been here twice, once for a private party back in 2012 and the last time in May 2015, for drinks before dinner at Gaddi's (also in Peninsula Hotel). Impeccable service, as always. They ask for your (sur)name when you enter and they will address you by name throughout the evening.
