At The Peninsula’s handsome, reconceived Bar, finely-crafted classic cocktails served in a discreet, intimate setting define the drinking experience. Richly muted panelled walls and club-style seating, accompanied by a jazz singer and pianist, lend an ambiance of warm, understated elegance. Craft cocktails, rare whiskies and vintage Armagnacs define The Bar’s golden era list of libations.

If you know anything about Hong Kong, then you know that The Peninsula is a bit of an institution. Steeped in history and looking chic and marvellous, we could not help but stop by after doing a spot of shopping for a cocktail or three at around 5pm. The line up of single malts is probably one of the most... More

Nice atmosphere, but I don't think the other reviewers who rave about "the view" were at the same place (perhaps they were at another bar in this hotel, but they were not at "The Bar"). It is a small (smaller than pictures suggest) and dark internal bar. They were definitely making an effort to make good cocktails, but unfortunately the... More

I have always wanted to have a drink here and I am glad that I did. It is an experience to have a cocktail or two here, and it should be a stop when you visit Hong Kong. I will be sure to do it again on my next visit.

We walked through the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong for fun. The small clubby bar, all wood paneled, was open that afternoon, so we sat at the bar and ordered a beer. Lucky us that Fan was the bartender. He described each drink he made and put on a little show shaking a special martini. Then gave us the best... More

one definition of cozy - to give a feeling of warmth, comfort and relaxation. And that is the feeling you will have upon entering this bar. The service and drinks match the atmosphere and the cherry on top is the view from Kowloon across the harbour to one of the great back drops of the world. take the time out... More

The Bar at The Peninsula Hotel Hong Kong is a warm, dark, elegant place, divided into cozy spots to linger. We visited twice and loved the atmosphere, service and excellent wine. The bartenders are top-notch!

Very small niche in the wall, with great drinks and nibbles. They had a guy playing the piano and singing the night we went in. Nice little spot for a drink before dinner.
