Very Affordable Weekend Brunch Buffet

Look, the food here is not perfect and there're probably better sushi places in the neighborhood but at HKD308 (not inclusive of tax) for unlimited sushi and sangria in the heart of pricey SOHO, you can't really complain or afford to be picky. I was here with a large group, we ordered a ton of food... read more

Very good Japanese restaurant in SOHO. We've been here for lunch and we took lunch set which was delicious and affordable. If you want sushi or Japanese food definitely come here.

It has a cool vibe and music, but if compare the food with the price it's so so. The best thing is probably the Asahi being served in pints for 68HK$ still that about £5.5

Been here a few times and always thoroughly enjoy it. Reasonable value and great quality. I always eat at the counter to get the recommendations from the sushi chef but only really convenient to do if you are eating as a single or a couple. Any more and conversation is difficult. My only gripe is people smoking near the entrance... More

Have been here twice for the weekend buffet- all you can eat snacks (edaname, tofu), maki rolls, tempura, noodles, grilled dishes and dessert. Drinks (beer, sake sangria, soft drinks) are also free-flowing. The second time, the menu felt smaller- salads and pumpkin tempura have disappeared. My biggest problem with eating here is that although it is apparently a buffet, it... More

My husband and I have been to Taku several times. We keep going back for the fried chicken - it's delicious. We hve found the service to be friendly and the quality of food very good. Prices are comparable (in fact better) than some of the other restaurants in the Soho area.

Very often we are so used to the usual sashimi, sushi found in most Japanese restaurants. Not really sure if this restaurant is related to any other Taku named restaurants in other parts of the world, Taku in Hong Kong in the Soho area of Central Hong Kong should not be missed particularly if you are a gourmet or foodie.... I had Sunday brunch there and was not impressed. The food was very average, the price was high, the choices were very limited. Furthermore the waiters and waitresses kept on bring out the wrong items in wrong quantity to our table. We ordered some tempura which never came until the very end when we kept on harassing them; it finally... More

Good night out for sushi in SOHO. Try the KFC! Crispy chicken goodness. Vegetable sushi options available and easy to make substitutes. We will be back!

We sat at the bar, were well attended, our 7 year old got to play with a live crab. Fab variety of well made Japanese Cuisine. Would recommend the Sea Urchin, Octopus and deep fried Agedashi Tofu.

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
