Best breakfast

I usually visit Yorkshire during weekdays for a hearty breakfast. The seating is little tight but good compared to some places 😁 all day breakfast is a must try highly recommended for tight schedule people

Stopped in after riding the trams. IT's right off the tram so you can't miss it. We went during happy hour so beer was slightly reduced. They had a good menu and the place was starting to get busy at 5pm. I enjoyed the free WiFi as I don't have a plan for when I travel. Definitely a good place... More

popped in for lunch whilst walking through Central, near the Mid Level Escalators. Two Beef sandwiches, a coke and a beer cost £40. Food was fine but not good value for money. Staff were not that friendly either.Good pub perhaps for a beer ( although still expensive) to watch the sport on the big TV. We found much better options price... More

Small English pub. Good music. Nice and helpful staff. Drinks are good. The food ( executive lunch) was so so. Not to my taste.

Stopped here for a drink before heading to the ferry and back to China. I enjoyed the rustic atmosphere. Service was great...wish we could have gotten a seat at the front to watch the world go by. No food this time around, maybe on our next visit.

If you are taking the numerous escalators/stairs up or down from Central towards the Peak, this is a great stop off for a drink and a place to watch the world go by from. Guinness is delicious and cold, although at Hkg$65 /pint it's quite pricey, but worth it! Sports on TV if you're interested too.

Called in for drinks, which was OK, but felt like the place needed a revamp. Decided to order a cheese board, but the three cheeses were available we said OK, just two then. Proved to be very expensive and not at all worth the money. Would not recommend it. Then they overcharged us on the drinks, and pointed this out... More

Ok, this needs to be put into perspective. After living for nearly three years on the Chinese mainland, coming to Hong Kong and eating some traditional fish and chips and bangers and mash was like a man walking in the desert and drinking water for the first time in days. Therefore the food was unbelievably divine, like heaven sent down... More

We visited this restaurant a few years ago, but it wasn't called Yorkshire Pudding. I don't know if the name just changed (it was a pub back then too) or if it's a new restaurant. The old one we were impressed with, and when we came back to Hong Kong, we made a beeline for it. But this restaurant wasn't... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
