The Hutong is situated on the 28th floor overlooking Hong Kong harbour. The view is truly impressive. Secure a window seat at night and you can watch the Hong Kong island light show from the perfect vantage point. The restaurant itself is pretty impressive, you feel like you have walked in to a dimly lit Chinese city of old. I... More

Just had a dinner at their sister restaurant, Aqua, and loved the relaxed atmosphere. We were seated at Hutong and told that we would need to vacate the table in 90 minutes. Yikes! had a reservation, but rules are rules! Try to sit by the window, it is a very nice view. Anyway, snooty atmosphere aside, the view is great... More

The food was good but the feel of the place was a bit off. It seemed a bit like a see and be seen place. The decor was a bit over the top. The views looking back at Hong Kong were very nice. I would recommend going a cocktail for the view

Was well surprised at this hotel, as its got the world renowned "Michelin Star" rating But to be honest, I payed the equivalent of £150 in HK $'s & did not enjoy it at all. The service was very poor, although the "Kid !" serving us, did not really understand much english, which in turn resulted us in having the... More

The view from this restaurant is amazing (when you make a reservation make sure you ask for a window seat). The food is good (but we were taken more by the view) and the service is fine.

The views at Hutong are breathtaking, I'm very familiar with the harbour view in HK but was still stunned by the view. The atmosphere and decor are wonderful too and the staff were very attentive and excellent at their jobs. Food was good, I can recommend the duck with pancakes - very moist and flavoursome and the kung po prawns... More

While in Hong Kong, my wife and I booked a dinner at the Hutong restaurant. If you go, be sure and book at 7pm, this will give you the opportunity to see the light show over Hong Kong that starts at 8pm. The view was absolutely spectacular, but the food wasn't that great in my opinion. We ordered the signature... More

This was our return visit and I booked the visit from Australia before we left. Once again the most enjoyable 2 1/2 hours with outstanding views of Hong Kong. The food was divine and worth the wait. However the service was down from the last visit. The waitress was arrogant and inattentive and kept knocking into our chairs whilst serving... More

If you are looking for a place to have a romantic or memorable dinner, this is an excellent option. Although the food is not the best, it's very good and we enjoyed it very much. Reservation is a must, the place is packed and you would expect a bad service but in our case it was very good, we were... More
