Concept Reminiscent of an ancient family courtyard in one of Peking's fast disappearing hutongs (courtyard houses set between narrow lanes), Hutong’s interiors are set against the most breathtaking skyline of any international metropolis. This is not the only surprise. The sense of adventure and sheer avant-garde creativity continues in the innovating cuisine inspired by the culinary styles of Peking and Shandong province.International accolades Michelin Guide (Hong Kong & Macau) One Star Award Dec 2009Michelin Guide (Hong Kong & Macau) One Star Award Dec 2008Asia's Top 20 Restaurants – The Miele Guide 2008/2009Asia Best Restaurant Award – Asian Legal Business 2007Destin Asian February/March 2006Capital HMC – Luna Treasure February 2006Prestige (HK) – Luna Treasure February 2006Hong Kong’s best restaurants – Condé Nast Traveller – Hot Tables (UK) May 2005Wallpaper (UK) March 2005Condé Nast Traveller (UK) November 2004Vogue Entertaining + Travel (Australia) Aug 2004Travel + Leisure (US) August 2004Cuisine Contemporary northern Chinese with inspiration from the Sichuan and Shandong provinces, and some traditional Peking dishes

I went with some colleagues to this restaurant. Our host lives in HK and this is one of his favorite places.I was really overwhelmed when we entered the restaurant by the interior and the outstanding view. I have been to HK many many times but this view beats it all. Make sure that you get a window seat looking to... More

A must to see. At the entrance you already enjoy a relaxing atmosphere surrounded by a row of lanterns. There is a great view of the skyline of Hong Kong Island and a tasteful food. I appreciated all the dishes and prawns with pepper above all. The personnel is very kind and always available to support you in the choice... More

We had an evening meal at Hutong, booked before we left the UK. views were stupendous over the city at night. Food was excellent although expensive. Lighting was a bit low but otherwise no complaints. Would go again any time.

Book a table with a window and plan to be at Hutong on the 28th floor of "1 Peking Place" in Kowloon by 7:30 at the latest so that you can have your drink in hand for the fabulous light show across the harbor in Hong Kong that starts at 8 pm every night. Just the view of downtown Hong... More

Book a table close to the window and you will have a wonderful diner looking to Hong Kong colorful buildings at night. If it is 8pm you will have the light show as a bonus. The food is a very good mix of all Chinese food.

We were a table of 13, and decided to go with a shared experience. The dishes were beautifully presented an I can confirm that each course were big on flavor. I was sitting with my back to the light show, so that played no part! Service was excellent considering the size of the table. We had an excellent New Zealand... More

Dined Sept 26, 2014 A little late in reviewing, but it was so positive and enjoyable, that I had to share the good news. This was our 2nd time visiting this restaurant, and it lived up to our expectations, again!! We arrived early (6pm) so that we would be sure to get a window seat, looking out over the harbor...
