Concept Reminiscent of an ancient family courtyard in one of Peking's fast disappearing hutongs (courtyard houses set between narrow lanes), Hutong’s interiors are set against the most breathtaking skyline of any international metropolis. This is not the only surprise. This really is a spectacular location with views over HK island from the 28th floor on the Kowloon side. But the food is only OK and yet extremely expensive. Furthermore the wine prices are outrageous. I paid £50 for a bottle of ok kiwi Sauvignon blanc. They seem to put little effort or flare into the dishes and I would... More

Magnificent night views of Hong Kong. More pricey but worth it for a treat. Wonderful decor and lovely ambience. Delicious food. Book a window table if possible.

I had colleagues from two countries come in to visit. We had a 6pm reservation. It was perfect to watch the beautiful HK skyline come alive as the sun set. Warm atmosphere, superb food and wine, excellent experience.

Hutong was recommended by a friend and lived up to expectations. Food excellent, service good and views of the Island from our window table on 28th floor was amazing!

In my eyes one of the best Restaurants in Hong Kong for Chinese food with a special touch to it. We had our private cabin "Hutong" and received excellent service and excellent food. It is Haute Cuisine so it is not cheap but worth it!!

Had a friend visiting Hong Kong and so spent a long time researching brunch spots before deciding on Hutong. Food was good, although not spectacular. Service was very good, and they put on various 'shows' throughout the meal (e.g. noodle making, tea pouring/dancing etc.). These shows were interesting (although I think it might be a tad annoying if you went... More

I visited 1st time to Hutong restaurant. If you like good view and spicy taste, you should try. Especially spicy soft shell crab, it's really good. Instead of taste & good view, price is higher.

We came with high expectations and also with a concern Hutong would be unreasonably high priced. Great to find out it was not so at all. Excellent service - we sat at the "back row", i.e. not close to the windows and the view, but when there was a free table an hour and a half after we arrived the... More
