Great Corn

Strange to think that a lasting memory of a steak place would be the corn. But it was just so damn good. Blackened corn with butter in a nice hot steel pot. Of course I should comment about the steak. Well cooked and served promptly. Could have had a little more roasted garlic as an... read more

A very cosy, rustic steak house with a service with smile and excellent steaks! We arrived here at 830pm in a group of four for a birthday dinner and were seated at the window table. We ordered an individual steak and a bottle of red wine as we didn't have much time for the appetizers. We were being told that... More

We were wandering around the area looking for a lunch spot when we were enticed with the weekday lunch deal. It was 2 courses (an entree and a main) for about HKD150 each person before tax. First we had to really pull open the extremely heavy door that was also going against wind/ air flow in the restaurant which made... More

I and my family just moved HK mid-level and we had my first lunch here. Food was ok, but talk about service, it was not great. I ordered ice cream for dessert. They didn't have the flavor I chose first so I should have gave up on ice cream at that point.... but I accepted to change the flavor. After... More

Dear Takamari, Apologies for the bad experience at Craftsteak, we take feedbacks very seriously and I just have double-checked with Management to understand what happened. The ice-cream chiller at Craftsteak was not working and instead they tried to find a solution to satisfy your needs, so they went to the restaurant next door (who is owned by the same company).... The signature buffet steak was excellent as were the accompanying wines. This is a great place to go with friends, especailly on the Wednesday special price evening. The service was attentive and we also liked the all you can eat accompanying dishes suich as French fries and macaroni cheese. Definitely worth checking out.

CraftSteak staff were warm and welcoming. Service was very good, attentive, but not pushy. The Wednesday special is a collection of steaks, grilled perfectly on a open grill. BBQ served buffet style. We started with a choice of two salads, crisp fresh lettuce or shrimp cocktail. Both quite tasty and a good size. The Steak portions are laid out close... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
