Agave offers a menu showcasing regional specialties and creative dishes from Guadalajara, Mexico’s second most populated city, as well as Jalisco. Ingredients used such as various chilies, cactus and fresh green tomatillos are imported from Mexico, whilst our tortillas are handmade on site. Guests can try our wide selection of tequilas or savor our well-known margaritas at the long bar. Been coming since 2003 because the food was good. Last few times have been consistantly average. And worse the portions seem to be getter smaller and smaller, the service worse and worse, the quality less and less. Worst of all it just feels dirty and in need of a clean. The staff need a bit of a taliking to also.

My expectations were very high before trying this Mexican trendy restaurant. Unfortunately out of 4 dishes ordered only one was worth, the mixed vegetables quesadillas. Tacos, nachos and the salad less quality than a fast food. Luckily the sangria we got washed away all those flavors. And you know what: the small portion of cream and guacamole that accompanied the... More

Enjoyed a nice time with friends Friday night. The spices prawn fajita was delicious and nice and spicy and a large portion too. Two for one margaritas also hit the spot. It was a bit loud, but it was a Friday night. Enjoyed the evening and the speedy service. Recommend you make reservations if you have a large group.

It was Cinco de Mayo and I needed some tequilla. They have a great supply here, but the food was only so so. Not spicy enough, not crispy enough, just not enough to stand out. Ambience great - but you expect that on the day.

Food was really tasty and especially big portions. Window seats are great for people watching. They only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is down to the price, quite expensive for what it is.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
