Mediocre!

Everything was mediocre- from the unfriendly faces of the servers (who would barely look at me in the eyes) to the food to the expensive marguaritas. Seriously 75 buckaroos for a small size marguarita that did not have much tequila. Plus as other reviewers have said, why can't two people share, buy... read more

I was told how great this place was for Mexican food and thought it would be a nice place to show a visiting friend. Sadly the staff were grumpy. The clientele were chain smoking and drinking on the outside fringes and the happy hour was firmly stated as cannot be shared. Buy 1 get 1 free. The food choices were... More

With all the extra charges...you would think this place was run by an accountant! We ordered fajitas for 2 people to share and they brought 3 tortillas..when we asked for extra one they said...8 dollars extra! When we asked for hot sauce...28 extra dollars...and the faces and treatment of the staff was NOT friendly at all....The drinks we ordered were... More

If Drinking is your plan of action - then this is the place to be. An array of fantastic cocktails, spirits and much more. Food is great too - and love the options for vegetarians. I would definitely go here again, but not too often as it can be fairly pricey. The location in Wanchai is perfect for partygoers but... More

The fajitas were very good, also ordered the chips and salsa , very fresh! The service was a 5 out of 10 at best, but the food was great! I enjoyed the atmosphere and will be back on next Hong Kong trip!

Whats more to say! I had the very well done sea bass which they offer on their all-inclusive menu. It was quite expensive but was worth it! The atmosphere is great, almost like one you would find on a beach in Mexico! It isn't cheap but for an sit-down breakfast, lunch or dinner in Wan Chai, you can't find a... More

We went to Agave today to celebrate our third anniversary...the same place we went to visit our first anniversary! Agave has never failed to disappoint since, at least in terms of its food. Service can be and has been spotty at times, but the food is as authentic as it gets in Hong Kong at a reasonable price! A special... More

Went here with group of 16 on work dinner. The food was plentiful and tasty although very cheesy !!!! The staff did well with serving initial drinks but then took a while for follow up but the restaurant was pretty full so this probably part of the reason why. Food was served promptly and still hot (maybe too hot in... More

The nachos are superb as are the fajitas. Always good to sit at the window bar and watch the world go by.

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
