The best way to taste many different dishes is to take a set menu. It's value for money and enough for lunch. Better than food is location. Take a table beside water and you have live movie on front of you when fishermen work on their boats.

From Aberdeen we engaged a sampan to take us to Lamma island, it looked a bit scary! But our captain was relaxed and confident so I was confident too. We arrived a-ok, and had a walk about the multitudes of seafood resturants that cluster near the piers. My uncle had suggested Rainbow to us, and we we delighted to follow... More

This is a great restaurant and I have been here several times, it never fails to deliver. I prefer to come in the day, as the views are stunning and less bugs attracted by the lights. Nice to combine with the family trail walk over the island, which takes about 1.5 hrs with stops for views etc. Garlic prawns are... More

Our day trip to Lamma was completed by a fantastic meal at Rainbow. Of course we had seafood - shrimps and scallops, but also pork and beef. All freshly cooked (and caught) and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, and helped us out with what we needed. We will definitely return again!

We enjoyed our lunch here. The restaurant is really big. They have tanks in the front where you can choose what you want. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The lady there speaks really good English. When you tell them what you want to eat, they'll make suggestions as to the best way to cook the seafood item you've... More

We went to Lamma for lunch and ate at Rainbow Seafood. The food was very fresh and was served quickly. Decor is very basic so may not be everyone's cup of tea.

I didn't places like this still existed. Absolutely first class. Food was amazing and the service was fantastic. To top the night off there was a free ferry back to Central. Have a great night and will bookmark this for the next trip.

My family walked the 1.5h family trail from Yung Shue Wan village to Sok Kwu Wan village. Pretty straight forward trail though there were challenging steep sections. We made a reservation with the restaurant on their website. We ate the local crab cooked in honey & pepper, very tasty. Prawns were really tasty & fresh. Mistake to order efu noodles.... More

Book online and they reverted within 3 hours. Arrangement for free ferry ride which is about 30 min from central pier 9 to Lamma island. Reasonable priced fresh seafood. The tea smoked chicken is deeeelicious, a must try. Great service. Just wonderful

Took the ferry from Central to YSW and then hiked the easy 5-6k trail to SKW stopping at a great little beach. Lunch was memorable (we did the lunch special for 4) and the service excellent. Rode their free ferry back to TST.
