Visited lamma island and after reading reviews, had to try this place. We were not disappointed. We got to try different seafood that we don't normally get at home and stuff they serve you are the things you see out the front alive in tanks. Meals were delicious and as a bonus, you get a free ferry service back to... More

If you are looking for a good seafood restaurant after your hike on the Lama island Rainbow is the place for you. Don't expect luxury but simple delicious food. Nice and friendly staff too. I strongly recommend the garlic steamed scallops. They also offer free ferry service back to HK Central Pier.

You sit down and then you are taken over to the tanks to choose your seafood; order with care though as seafood is seafood and is expensive wherever you are in the world. Choose what you want, make sure you know how much it will come to and decide how you want it cooked. To keep the bill reasonable, I... More

Like a number of places there is always someone who will recommend golden fish or special seafood at some exorbitant price. We chose a more modest garoupa which was first class along with sweet and sour chicken, scallops with glass noodles and garlic, chicken crispy noodles, beef and broccoli, fried rice, gai lang all kicked off with some very fresh... We came to this restaurant with family for a seafood feast and were not disappointed. Make sure you book so you get the ferry for free - and eat in the restaurant to the left of the jetty. The food was excellent, the staff attentive and helpful and the view gorgeous. We had a wide range of dishes, from lobster... More

After walking the Happy Family trail, eating dinner at Rainbow is a must. We looked at all the various seafood tanks and Rainbow certainly has the freshest and best looking seafood. We shared a plate of shrimp and a huge bowl of fried rice and it was sooooo good. When we were finished, they gave us tickets to their free... More

We ate an early dinner here after 3+ hours of hiking on Lamma Island and working up an appetite. We had a noodle dish, the sweet and sour pork, and a pepper crab. The noodles were nothing to write home about and we left about 1/3 of them on the plate, but the sweet and sour pork and crab were... More

Nice restaurant, you can get there easily - even if quite far away from 'centre' Hong Kong - they have a private boat for clients (journey takes around 40 minutes but with nice views). Restaurant is at the seaside, with life seafood which you can choose for your meal. Simple, fresh but nothing exciting. prices are rather standard but not... More

The best way to taste many different dishes is to take a set menu. It's value for money and enough for lunch. Better than food is location. Take a table beside water and you have live movie on front of you when fishermen work on their boats.
